Description of Work: After some initial communication problems and delayed paperwork on their end (they forgot to give us necessary forms when they came to give us an estimate and didn't realize they'd forgotten until it was finally our turn for service, delaying service by another couple of days), they did a fine job at a very good price.

Description of Work: Fiddler Roofing replaced all our gutters. Other than leaving some materials on the roof, they did a good job. They came back promptly to remove materials from roof.

Description of Work: I contacted (via phone) to have a representative from Fiddler's Roof |come to my house. Water was leaking from my roof to the inside of |my house and making a "L" shaped bulge in the paneling on the inside |of my home. The rep they sent was very professional. He climbed up |the roof and then came down and informed me that my gutters were |clogged and that I needed gutter guards. He then started taking |the leaves that were in my gutter (scooping them up) and dropping |them in my bushes. He only scooped up a small section of leaves. | |But the ones that came from the gutter and fell on top of the bushes |in front of my house really smelled. I wasn't mad or upset about that. |I think he was just showing me what I had clogged up in my gutter. | |He stated that he would mail me a brochure about the gutter guards along |with an estimate. I waited a week and got no brochure nor a written |estimate. I then called the secretary who answered the phone at |Fiddler's Roof. She seemed like she was in a hurry. I told her that |I had tried to contract this rep (he gave me his business card) but |there was no answer. She then proceeded to give me his cell phone |number. I asked her to repeat it because I was looking for a pen |to write the number down on paper. She then was kind of rude. She |repeated the number and then said, "Ok?" like she was doing me |a favor. I never called the rep back because I felt that she was |very unprofessional and I did not want to have to deal with her |if I still had not yet heard from the rep and needed her assistance. | |I decided to seek a roofer elsewhere.

Description of Work: Fiddler Roofing was totally unresponsive to my call. I called them again and again to have some repairs done to my roof. I reached them each time. They came to the house and said I needed some shingles replaced and others nails hammered down. They never gave me an estimate and over a period of 2-3 months, never returned my calls to set up doing the work. The owner is totally unresponsive.

Description of Work: Fiddler roofing replaced the existing roof, installed new, aluminum eaves, and replaced the gutters and downspouts. Two layers of old shingles were removed, ridge vents were installed, an old television antenna was removed, and a new exhaust vent was installed.

Description of Work: Removal of old shingles, and installation of new ones over approximately 4000 sq. ft. roof, including underlayment, ice-water shield at eaves, around vents, etc. Also installed ridge vent, soffit intake vents, gutter aprons, rake edges, new bathroom fan vent, etc. The estimate included 5 options for shingles with different costs and warranties, but all were from a manufacturer recently top-rated by the consumer reports. The company had a list of all previous installations with shingle types and colors, and gave us the addresses to inspect how each color, etc. would look like when installed. This was excellent, since the small samples and pictures couldn't tell how the roof would really look like.

Description of Work: We developed a leak in our glass Florida Room, after a very bad winter. Two of my estimates said a new roof over the Florida Room was needed. Fiddler Roofing said repairs could be done in specific areas. Based on the reports on Angie's list, I hired them to do the repairs. Their work was timely and very neat. We will have to see what happens this winter.
