Cleanway Cleaning & Restoration

Lots of good points: Doug (owner) personally visited and then prepared the estimate of cost, so he was familiar with the job when he and Shawn came to do the job. Doug has been cleaning carpets for years so we were not subjected to a "learner" practicing on our rugs. I rated their work with a "B" - some corners looked as though they were missed, but overall it was a good, average job of cleaning.

All work was done to our satisfaction. The owner and crew were professional and did a great job. We will be contacting Cleanway in the future.

Seemed okay...thought there would be brushes in the ducts, but they were just blown out...

Cleanway Cleaning was hired for air duct cleaning. The HVAC cold air returns and heat runs had never been cleaned; the house is 60 years old. The former occupant had a dog and a cat, and she smoked. Although the house was thoroughly cleaned and painted and new carpets, there was some slight odor present. I suspected the air ducts, and hired Cleanway. The owner Doug Neuman arrived promptly with his helper. They set up their extraction equipment and went right to the job. They had all the right tools. Several holes had to be drilled out so that the suction equipment could be applied into the ductwork. The cleaning process took 2 1/2 hours, and the duct work was treated with Zep smoke odor eliminator, and the access holes were plugged and sealed. There was a significant amount of cat/dog hair in the system. Doug and his assistant were polite and efficient.

Doug was prompt and thorough. I went with him for several reasons. One, he came to my house for the estimate, rather than giving me a number over the phone. Two, a competitor offered to sanitize my ducts for a discounted price of $100 in addition to the cleaning, but Doug included this service with his price. He was also more thorough than a competitor in going through the process, and seemed more attentive to the furnace than his competitor. He was also able to give the ducts a thorough cleaning without taking the vent covers off. He said the negative air process made taking off the covers unnecessary, and might expose the air to lead paint dust and particles. He gave estimate on a Monday and did the work on Thursday of the same week.

Everything was great great.

Doug was very professional and knowledgeable. My carpet was very stained and the stains were removed. I would recommend his company.
