They contract their work out. I disliked how it was done. They were supposed to put in a stone path on the foundation, when they lifted the house. It quickly was buried and they had a lot of trouble. Right now, there is mechanics leading into the home from somebody he didn’t pay. There was the special basement walls put up that was fiberglass stuff and nobody came to finish the outside of. They are a lousy company. I would warn everyone to beware. The basement windows were supposed to be put in and we could have moved into the house after that, but it was two weeks before the completion and he couldn't get any of the contracted workers. He came out and put the windows himself, haphazardly. They were poor with their responsiveness. Their professionalism was not good. The quality of home itself is nice; another company in Pennsylvania built it.
Description of Work: They put in a modular home for me.

Not well. Would not recommend this company to anyone building a modular home.
Description of Work: Purchased a modular home from Twin Development with Mr Lippa as general contractor. Mr. Lippa failed to get proper inspections from code enforcement officer and certificate of occupancy. Experiencing continuing problems with insulation, plumbing, windows and doors. Twin Tier Development has not been able to resolve air leaking through windows. Also incorrect primer was used on plumbing resulting in all drain pipes needing to be taken out and replaced. Had home energy audit showing serious deficiencies in insulation. 8/28--Had another company fix the insulation problems and Mr. Lippa signed a release for 1/2 final payment to pay for this. Currently, there are warranty issues with the house (soffit buckling is the major issue) and I have contacted him to take care of this. So far, have heard nothing back. Also, have learned that the company is not longer called Twin Tier Development but Twin Tier Custom Homes.
