This company does not belong on your list. I accepted the "deal" that was supposedly offered, but I was sent a proposal by Structure Build for more than 3x the price. I asked to have the outside of my house painted, and I was told by "Nicolas" that the "deal" offered was to paint a 2-room apartment. There was no mention of that in the proposed deal. He told me that he would have to charge to put up a scaffold; I've had my house painted before, and the painters always used ladders. He said it would take 2-3 days to replace an approximately 8 x 10 section of siding shingles. A contractor told me it would take less than a day. Nicolas said paint for a 3500 sq. ft. house would cost me $800. I told him my house is approx. $2200 sq. ft., but he insisted that I need paint for 3500 sq. ft.

After hurricane sandy in 2012 a lot of people in Brooklyn and Long Island got flooded a lot of home owners received flood damages or lost their property due to Hurricane Sandy... I am living on Cony Island Seagate area at that time I was home with my Family and how a remember the water came up to my house and flooded my basement and first floor of my house... I was very scared and desperate.... We basically lost everything at the first and basement floor... We have received some help from FEMA like every homeowner in that area but the rest was huge loss from our pockets... We found structureline based on recommendations and we started to do renovation...Nicholas the General Manager helped us out to apply for a small loan so we could begin the renovation...We needed to do a complete house renovation .... They took off the walls in the basement and 1st floor, they did mold disinfection, replaced all drywall's, wiring, boiler, windows, doors, siding etc.. They did remodeling on the master bathroom from the first floor and kitchen, they did a wonderful job...We love their new engineered Hardwood floor and the new design of the bathroom with the big bathtub and shower cabinet ... The price we spend ed was a little higher than we were expected because we did some design work in the living room and Kitchen but for sure it worth it....If Someone will ask me for a recommendation for sure I will recommend Structureline because they helped me out at that time ....Thanks

I have used Structureline few time in the past It all begins with a bathroom Remodeling when I used to live in Jersey City... I Hired them Based on recommendations and good reviews... The story was that at that time 2009 I couldn't find a good Licensed Contractor to get the management board approval in my building, because of the high requirements.. And my sister Gina give me the contact information of Structureline as certified contractor.. After they pass the board they did the bathroom remodeling and I was very happy with their results... After I moved to Brooklyn my husband said that would be nice to hire a contractor to do a extension to the house.. After we received several bids from different contractors even that the price was a little higher we decided to go with Structureline because we already knew their work.. Nicolas advised us to build a second floor instead of the back extension and we thought that is a brilliant idea and went for it... To tell the truth the construction took longer then we expected .....a lot of paperwork, inspections for framing , plumbing we did received a violation because we haven't used the scaffolding properly weather conditions etc... But we know that Nicolas did the best to finished and we do appreciate that... My husband was very happy wen the construction was completed, a lot of closets room, master bathroom, Large windows , big living room and huge living room... I really liked bout their renovations that the walls a straight and smooth like glass, defiantly is recommended to see ....

Since I Moved to New York me and my husband we find that it will be a big problem for as to find a good contractor that can help us to get done the construction and remodeling at our new house that we bought in woodlands .. The first problem was that houston doesnt have any specific requirements, certification or license for contractors what means is it a big problem to track them .. The second problem we had that we did t have any friend for recommendations... We found a couple of contractor on home daviser and yelp and we decided to give a try... We received a couple of bids form them and we decided to go with the one that gave us the best bid ...,,Houston Renovation & Remodeling,, But after they begin the work we find out that this company has very poor experience in construction and the worst think was that they begin to overcharge us saying that a lot of thinks waren t indicated in the bid.. Yes we where very upset and we decided to not work with that company.. We called again the company's that we received the bids and we asked them to rebid the job and we asked them to specify all the details that will be included and witch not.. After we received the new Bids Structurelne Construction Has the most accurate bid they also specify all the details even the garbage removal... My husband sad that he will go with Structure Construction and I was agree with.. It took approximately 2 month for them to finish the Remodeling In our 4 bedroom House but we are very satisfied with the results .. They helped us to update the old 2 Bath, replacing all ceramic tiles and bathtubs.. We did replaced all flooring in the house we did update our old kitchen and closets... and walls Restoration, new moldings and painting. Now all looks great and we are happy with the changes we did in the house.. Hope i will call them soon for some exterior work and I am expecting to receive a good quote .. Thanks for all ..

My parents bought a new Condominium in Brooklyn are 2 years ago, and later on we decided to remodel our old bathroom and walls texture in the apt. so my mom asked me to find a remodeling company to remodel the bathroom in the apartment... I had use this Company before and I decided to call them for an estimate... Their estimated price was in closer to our budget and we decided to go with them.. We agreed at 28500$ for a complete remodeling, at the end we paid 300$ extra because we decided to replace the old bathtub with a new one witch was unexpected for us ...They finished the work in two weeks and my parents were very happy with the service provided by Structure Construction... We have bought our house in 2012 and we where looking for a Contractor for a while but we were very picky because we had some bad experience before with some Contractors.. My husband's cuisine told us about Structureline Construction and we decided to take them to do the remodeling in our house.. After they gave us the Proposal we where expected to begin right away but they didn't ... They where very busy at that time and we had been waiting for them for 2 weeks to begin... But after the did complete the work we where very excited with the work that had been done and our expectations was defiantly worth it.. We hire them after for a patio covering at the backyard and some brick siding work.. For sure i will recommend them if necessary and use them again if I will have some construction work to be done..

We needed some work done on our roof - an old patio cover removed, flushing repaired, and gutters cleaned. We contacted a handful of roofers before Excelsior, and were given vague time frames of up to several months before they would even come out to bid on the work. So, it was unexpected when Excelsior responded to our inquiry right away, especially during the rainy season. Within a couple weeks they came out to do the bid and showed up exactly on time (Comcast could learn a few things from them!). They presented a fair bid right away addressing the issues we had discussed, and did not try to scam us with additional unnecessary work (it had been several years since the roof was inspected). They scheduled and completed the job 10 days later, all while we were away at work. Everything was done exactly as we had asked with no mess or debris left over. With such prompt and high quality service, I'd definitely use Structure Construction again to address any roofing issues in the future.

A happy customer and recommend to use them, especially if you want to get it done quick. Renovated kitchen and master bath room, took little bit more than a month to finish from the date we signed. We purchased a house and tried to renovated before moving in. That is our first house, so buying a dream house was enough hustles for us. Didn't realized find the contractors are that difficult. We had several quotes, not the cheapest nor the highest, but sure the fastest response. And the actual job was very quick too. Pros: done in quick responses are quick looks good and functional accurate quotes Cons: for us, since this is the first house and first renovation, hard to get the stuffs they asked us to get or even understand what they are talking about. if you know what remodeling is, should be no problem

Structureline is the best contractor experience I have had so far -- with any construction project there will be quirks and things to work out, but Ed and Nicolas always felt like partners through the entire process. My Husband and I also enjoy doing things ourselves, though we were limited by our co-op's rules, but Ed and Nicolas worked with us on what we did want to do (painting, assembly of built-in shelves, etc.). I hired them for a interior renovation of a co-op apartment built around 1950-1960 with plaster walls. The renovation encompassed kitchen, bathroom, flooring, the construction of a walk-in closet, and skim coating the walls. Also, the apartment had very little built-in lighting, so we asked them to install track lighting in the apartment as well. We did not use a designer, but we did provide them with drawings for the kitchen cabinet layouts and lighting as well as measurements for the walk-in closet. We also purchased almost all of the materials and furnishings for installation. They installed everything as asked and worked with us on addressing any quirks they found in the unit (e.g., walls not straight making installation of something difficult, etc.).. What impressed me though are the small touches that we did not ask for -- several electrical outlets were installed into the kitchen that were not asked for but I am really GRATEFUL that they did. They also took time to straighten handles, knobs, light fixtures, replace vent covers, among other small touches. They are definitely using technology to their fullest, with Ed being available via email as well as texting. He was usually very quick to reply, snapping photos of any problems or questions and sending to me. Nicholas has a great problem solving mind, coming up with different ways to approach what we wanted in the bathroom, kitchen, and living room. I would definitely recommend them after this experience.

Base on the reference i received from a friend of mine I decide to call this company for an estimate... The estimated price was a little higher than other contractor i had before but I decide to hire Structureline.. The work that was done in my apartment was very impressive... They did the work very clean also Nicholas helped me out to choose the right tiles and appliance for my bathroom, I am very pleased with the job that was done in my apartment... The inconvenience i had is that it took almost to finish it.. I will defiantly use them again in the future. Thanks

I would like to leave a nice review for this company and my best recommendations to those people who are looking for a good contractor at the right price... I had a immense experience with contractors in NYC and I can say that this company/ contractor is the most responsible contractor I ever had and i would like to thank you for a good remodeling service.. The Basement Remodeling I had It took approximately 4 weeks to finish but the results are for sure impressive.. Thank you, and for sure I will use this company again..

We have been used this company for 2 bathrooms remodeling in our House.. My wife Emily found them online and based on all positive recommendations they had we decided to go with them.. The work was done very clean and Professional, it took them 1 week to complete the work , Nicholas helped us out to choose the right design, appliance and finish tile.. I would like to thank you guys for the wonderful service that you provided.. This company was recommended to me by one of my old friends. at the time when I have moved to Galleria Houston... I did had some minor problem with my previous contractor because he wasn't licensed. In the new apartment I did bought recently the bathroom was horrible and I decide to do some remodeling ... The building Requirements was very strictly with the contractors and my old contractor wasn't approved by the management ... Later on One of my friends that I know for a long time recommended me this company.. After I received the proposal I decide to go with them.. This company was recommended to me by one of my friends, I tried to call them to receive an estimate for my Apt Remodeling. Their estimate was lower in compare with other contractors i had before. I decide to try their service. In the beginning I changed the front windows in to my apt. then i decide to give them the rest of the work ...At the end i am happy with all of the work they have done in to my apt. I think ill try them again ...
