+ -1 moreBetween the extremely high estimate, and the slow response and the appearance of the tech, I refused to pay the estimate. Lewis fought me tooth and nail for months for $149. He got his money but lost a customer.
Description of Work: I left a couple of voices messages to get the estimate. Lewis finally called me back 2 weeks later with estimate for the job that was more than triple of all the other estimates that I received. Lewis sent a tech that was sloppy and dirty.

+ -1 moreSTANLEY PLUMBING CO Incredibly satisfactory, the best plumbers we have ever worked with. We have had them out twice, in the month of June, two separate occasions. The first time was to fix a couple leaks left by another plumber, and the costs a little over $200. They were great, they took everything out that was under the counter top in the kitchen. Made sure that everything was back and functional before they left. Paid a lot of attention to detail, and took their time. They came back for a rather extensive job, replacing part of a boiler that had become rusted out. That job was about $950. They cleaned up after themselves, they even asked me for a broom and dust pan so they could use it. I am 50 years old, and have never had any workman in my life every request, "Please,Can I use your broom and dust pan, because I like to clean up after myself ?" That is what their worker said to me. I was standing there with my chin hitting the ground(I was so in shock). The second time they did a job here, the same thing happened. In the basement, in the boiler room. He had to actually cut out pipe, then weld in new pieces to the furnace. After he was done there was old rust and bits of metal on the floor. He also request for a broom and dust pan so he could clean up before he left.(And this was a completely different guy). I can't said enough about them, it was a big surprise. They are extremely pleasant guys, I offered them water cause they were here for couple hours, and they were very gracious. Of course I tipped them, because they did an awesome, Awesome job. They were very, Very gracious. They came here when they said they would. Their front desk people were a real pleasure to work with as well.
Description of Work: STANLEY PLUMBING CO We had them out about 4 weeks ago in June. They had to replace the pipes coming out of the kitchen sink, and repair leaks that was left by another plumber. The water line had to be fixed that leads form the kitchen sink to the refrigerator. In order to fix that they had to pull out the dishwasher. They put everything back and cleaned up after themselves. Also fix the boiler.

+ -1 moreI THINK THIS COMPANY IS EXCELLENT. THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE AND IT'S GOOD TO KNOW THAT THEY ARE HERE WHEN I NEED THEM. WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH THEM.
Description of Work: THEY REPLACED A FROZEN PIPE THAT BROKE.
