+ -1 morePart of the renovation was to sand & refinish 1225 square feet of wood flooring. According to 3 other floor refinishing companies, the process was not executed properly. After sanding & staining, the flooring was to be SEALED and then the polyurethaning was to be done. According to the 3 other specialists the floor was never sealed, so the polyurethane did not adhere to the floor. Thus the polyurethane is now peeling off and the floor is turning yellow due to the floor absorbing the polyurethane. The floor needs to be totally redone; meaning we need to move out for 2 weeks, into a hotel and our home packed up and moved into storage. We have already paid all of this for the 10 weeks we were out of the apartment, plus paying another company to redo the flooring.
