Description of Work: these movers were excellent- very fast , efficient, and not a single thing broke! They completely packed me up and moved me into another apartment cross town . I had a lot of stuff including heavy art sculptures and they made it seem like it was the easiest job in the world- when clearly, it was not.

Description of Work: Redline showed up on time, packed all our furniture and other items and placed them in the truck. They are currently storing them as the home we bought is under renovation.

Description of Work: So far they only picked up the merchandise. When they delivered and all my things are still in good condition I will inform you.

Description of Work: Packed and moved furniture from Kingston, NY to Irving, TX.

Description of Work: They moved me from Northern New Jersey to the Saint Louis, Mo area. The movers worked very diligently and quickly, my items were delivered during the expected window. Everything was carefully wrapped and no damage was caused to my posessions. At every step of the way they were very open and up front about costs and what might increase my charges, there was no deception at any point. Part of what I really liked was that from beginning to end it was Roadway and only Roadway employees handling my possessions and it was their tractor trailer that delivered my items from the NY/NJ area. They do not outsource and overall everyone was really great to deal with. | |I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family in the NY/NJ area and will do so as the opportunity arises. |

Description of Work: This was my first large and far move from NJ. The truck showed up on time and the movers were very pleasant employees to work with. There are a few minor things broken but otherwise they wrapped everything very, very well. I had a complaint as they did not mark the boxes they packed (which were usually too big for me to handle alone) so I have no idea what is in the boxes, not even what room they came from! No idea where my vacuum cleaner is, etc. It is quite difficult to find anything this way and also because in putting boxes in my garage they left no type of pathway between any boxes. I cannot get to the back of the garage to try to find Christmas decorations/gifts, etc without having someone come to move the large boxes out of my way. The other complaint I have, which may have come through a communication error, is on the matter of tipping. I expected to give a tip but was not informed that the tip would be divided between the two crews until after I had given it and then I had to tip again at the unloading. They all certainly deserved a tip but almost doubling it was quite costly to me. As long as you are aware to keep these matters in mind, I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Movers took hampers of accumulated school books and papers as well as items stored in my garage to storage facility. They were professional,prompt and proficient.

Description of Work: They picked up my daughter's possessions from her apartment and storage in Los Angeles, CA, and held it for 30 days in their storage, until they delivered it to her new apartment and storage in Washington, DC.

Description of Work: Moved from NJ to Florida. Great crews on both ends. They used the firm quote so even though I had more than the estimated SQ FT I only had to pay what the estimator that came to the house estimated it would cost. Extremely impressed with this moving company. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Roadway is a wonderful company. It was super easy and fast to get a quote and the guys are really responsive and fast. The price was reasonable, especially in comparison to other moving companies in New York. As for the actual move, the guys were on time, great attitude and clearly cares about getting me all moved in Definitely choosing them for my next move

Description of Work: While the correspondence with the representative was detailed + prompt in both phone and email form, the offer amounted to a classic "bait and switch" scheme where the initial low price is just a set-up for more costly services. Understandable that moving services in the city can be costly, but quotes for almost 1K to move a handful of items (not an apartment or studio but a couple of pieces of furniture) three blocks felt excessive. This was of course for prime time moving days like Friday and Saturday, but alternate choices were equally expensive (middle of the month on a Tuesday). I felt like they were just trying to gauge me for service and time that I would not need.

Description of Work: Roadway World Wide Movers packed up our apartment and moved it cross country to Texas. They arrived early, were completely professional and courteous. I highly recommend them.
