Roadway Moving

This is my second time using Roadway and I cant say enough good things. They have never broken any valuables, are so fast and efficient and have helped me make huge life changes easy!

We moved from Los Angeles to New York and was very impressed with our experience with Roadway Moving. We were assigned a delivery coordinator to help keep up up to date on the move and so we felt well-taken care of and updated the whole time. Our belongings also arrived promptly within the delivery window as promised. I will definitely be using Roadway again. We specifically opted for the full-packing options which I will absolutely be using again. Truly, it was a life-saver and worth every penny. The team was so careful wrapping all of our belongings and everything arrived to New York intact and in fantastic condition. Thank you!

Roadway Moving was an absolute dream to work with. I had to make an unexpected move out of my place, and even though I was moving somewhere bigger and better, the change was still so jarring. They were extremely helpful, clear, and communicative from the moment that we agreed to work together. Their organization helped me to take the stress of the situation away and get excited about this next chapter instead! Christian and Oneal were my moving crew the day-of and they called me to give me an ETA, showed up right on time, and got to work right away. They were SO fast, helpful, and kind. By the end of the move into my new space, they had placed all of my belongings and boxes in their new rightful place, which made unpacking a breeze. I can't recommend Roadway Moving enough!

Genuinely the best, most efficient, most professional moving company I have ever worked with. I recently moved from New York City to Dallas, and not only was the move more affordable than any other quotes I received, but they single-handedly wrapped every single dish and item that I had and insured the safety of every piece for the cross state move. I did the pack for you package and it is exactly as it sounds, I did not have to do a thing. They dissembled my furniture and reassembled it perfectly when I got to Dallas AND not one thing was missing or broken upon arrival. PLUS it got to me in days of being packed and my moving specialist updated me throughout the entire process. The movers were SO kind, so professional and super accommodating throughout the entire process. 20/10 would recommend. Moving is so incredibly stressful typically but Roadway truly took all the stress away and took care of it all.

Roadway Moving (subcontracted by Northeastern Movers) lost 100 of my Client's 130 boxes in a move from NYC to MN last year!! Can you even imagine receiving the news that ¾ of your valuables, heirlooms, and memorabilia--including those of your recently deceased husband--are missing because a company you hired, paid, and trusted amazingly LOST an ENTIRE CRATE of boxes? It’s heartbreaking and frustrating and financially devastating! We remain ready and willing to resolve this matter, and they have ignored our recent pleas for fair reimbursement. Moving is an incredibly stressful and costly process anyway, but this takes the cake. Please consider this in choosing your mover!

Amazing movers! Used Roadway recently when helping my company (Japan Crate / Bokksu) move our NYC HQ across Manhattan. Apartments are difficult enough, but Roadway was able to pack up a 7,500sq foot office and transport everything in perfect condition to our new space same-day — including organizing boxes, dissembling furniture, and safely securing a lot of electronics. A friend recommended them to me, and I’ll definitely be recommending them to my friends too.

Roadway recently helped my family and I move from our apartments to a house and they did an amazing job!! i highly recommend them when moving. they handled all of our items with care so we were all at ease. they were also very fast with the whole process! it was just a great experience overall. :)

I RARELY make reviews and this one I couldn’t help but create a review for these guys. Not only was booking with roadway crazy easy, but the process from the time they showed up to the time they left was nothing but absolute bliss which is never something you hear about with moving so let me give you the full run down. Leading up to this move I was more anxious than I was for any other, I loved my home and neighbors so that had me stressed a ton to leave. From the moment their team showed up they could tell I was stressed and gave me the most amazing pep talk and (like I know that’s not their job to do but it just goes to show the kindness and character of the people they hire and that’s so important when handling your items I think!!) they made me feel like we were a team in the move. They moved HUGE items like my massive vintage dining table, my massive IKEA pax system, my camera equipment, literally everything and I wasn’t worried for a second about any of my stuff. They were so great to be around and I can’t say enough good things about how efficient they were, professional, kind, caring, kind to my dogs, and huge problem solvers. I didn’t have to think about a THING! I was stressed about how my pax system would get out of the tiny room and hall and into the even smaller room and hallway and they did it so quickly. They put the shelf through the window and I didn’t have to stress over it. Truly the greatest moving team and I’m so grateful to roadway that I have a happy moving story. I’ve hired movers in the past and had either okay/rough experiences or downright bad experiences and safe to say I won’t hire another team Of people to move with ever again 🫶🏼 couldn’t say enough amazing things about them from start to finish!!!!!!

I used Roadway for my move from NY to LA, and they really took all the stress out of moving from one coast to the other. I can’t imagine moving even a short distance without them in the future. Anyone who has moved knows how quickly you can be overwhelmed by the packing process. No matter how prepared you are, the days leading up to your move leave you increasingly more anxious. From the moment our movers arrived to begin the move out, all of that stress had been taken off my shoulders, and I felt relieved knowing that the “heavy lifting” was being handled - literally and figuratively. I was then able to focus on smaller, more tedious aspects of what was left to pack. I can’t recommend Roadway’s services enough for anyone considering hiring a moving company!
