We love our house! Working with Riji Home Improvements and our project manager, Eli, was a great experience. Eli was incredibly responsive, aligned himself with our project goals, provided great recommendations throughout the project, and was a pleasure to work with. He had a great team as well in terms of our architect (Ramin), the designer (Tal), and everyone that worked on our house. They worked incredibly hard and completed the project quicker than anticipated. We couldn't be happier with the results!

After finally deciding to renovate my entire 1942 home with no insulation, old pipes, 110 volt knob & tube electrical outlets, no central heating or cooling, cracked ceilings, and amongst years of various wear and tear, I knew I was in need of finding someone experienced to take on such a daunting task. After extensive research, and interviewing 4 contractors, I met with Jacob, and he was amazing. His energy, followup communication, and portfolio was the deciding factor. From our first meeting, he had been in prompt communication with me for 3 months. Thanks to Jacob, and his team of professionals consisting of an Engineer, Architect, and Designer, Jacob was able to manage everyone within an open group chat to communicate every step in the first phase. As promised, he was able to work with me on the estimated budget for all the materials selected for each area of the house. I was aware and prepared for some changes and additional costs along the way, as expected in such a huge project. I was glad to see spreadsheets and paperwork, which Jacob had created, to help me visualize what will be the accurate cost of the total project before we submitted plans to the building department. We did the entire house from floor to ceiling. Re-wired electrical and upgraded to 220 volts and adding solar. We noticed there were a few leaks on the roof, and the damage was significant enough to replace the roof as well. Re-pipping and relocating the gas line for the new kitchen layout was necessary. Had new insulation and HVAC system placed. Flooring and walls re-done entirely. During the project, Jacob was able to connect me with vendors specializing in windows and doors throughout. I was pleased to be referred to a vendor who was able replaced my old dilapidated garage door with a new one that can be controlled on an App and remote. I'm also grateful to Jacob for providing so many project material gifts along the way. After the garage door replacement, it was time to redo the drive way, and add a new fence in front. Added an irrigation system for front yard and back, and planted new plants as well. Refinished the backyard deck and installed new tiles on the front porch I highly recommend Jacob to family and friends, or anyone who is looking for a good project manager and contractor services in their next home project, large or small.

Evaluating a remodel to my bathroom, and Yonatan was extremely helpful. We reviewed different ideas and approaches, all while discussing the cost impact of different options. Very different experience where Yonatan felt more like a partner in the project than a contractor trying to maximize his profits. Would recommend!!

Just a little over a year ago we started a full home remodeling project with a different remodeling contractor. Everything was very promising; we had the architectural plan and design all figured out and were very eager to start the remodeling work. Unfortunately, the remodeling contractor who we worked with did not keep to our agreement and it turned out to be a nightmare. We ended up having to stop all work. We felt that our trust was betrayed, and it took some time before we started searching for a new home remodeling contractor who could take over the project. We decided that we would try to find a contractor through friends and family. A friend of a friend recommended RIJI Home improvements and Handywork. He invited us to his home to see their work. He had also had a full home remodeling done by them. After sharing the experience that he had had with Alex and the team, and in addition to seeing their work for ourselves, we were impressed. We called the company and scheduled a meeting with Alex. At the meeting we shared our previous experience, and Alex explained that what we had been through with the previous remodeling contractor was not normal and that most companies do not work that way. He promised that with RIJI Home improvements and Handywork we would have a completely different experience. In addition, he insisted on showing us two other home remodeling projects that he had done in the past. RIJI Home improvements and Handywork were not the cheapest remodeling contractors out there, but their price was definitely fair. Working with RIJI Home improvements and Handywork and especially Alex was refreshing and stress free which was what we needed after all the hassle we have been through. The level of communication was and excellent they really came through for us, which is greatly appreciated.

The remodeling team were skilled and professional, and I felt that Ben our project supervisor was genuinely interested in my opinion. The designers spent quite a lot of time with me as I am indecisive and I thank them for all their patience. I felt that the price was fair and the quality of work is excellent. Ben who was one of the main reasons why I choose this remodeling company, was helpful and available for the entire remodeling project. Sean and his team worked with my cousin on a project at his property. I was very impressed with their work and my cousin was very happy with the way that the company and the team handled themselves. Once we knew that Sean and his team were available, we contacted RIJI Home improvements and Handywork and hired them for our home remodel and kitchen extension. Customer service was fantastic. Our team included an architect and two designers, in addition to a remodeling crew who performed the work. We had to obtain permits before we could start with the work This took some time, but RIJI Home improvements and Handywork took care of that for us which was nice. Sean was a real professional. He and the remodeling crew started working at our home shortly after we received the permit. During the work, It felt like everything was in order and everyone knew what they were doing. In addition, Sean kept us in the loop of things. All our questions were always promptly addressed, and he was totally there whenever needed. Staying within the project timeline was a bit of an issue. This wasn't a typical home remodel, but the project took longer than we originally planned. This might be because of COVID or the fact that the remodeling team were very detailed. When thinking back on the entire process and considering the quality of work and the beautiful results, RIJI Home improvements and Handywork gave us a 5-star experience. It was a great experience. My wife and I just moved back into a home that we recently had half of the house gutted and refreshed. The whole process started over a year ago, when we were soliciting bids from various contractors. Alex and his team came over and gave a competitive bid and a year later, we couldn't be more pleased with our "new" house that has gained a lot more open space and natural light. We had first approached RIJI Home improvements and Handywork after our architect and structural engineer submitted and had plans approved by the city. We wanted to make sure we could hit the ground running and Element was able to fill that role. Were they the least expensive option? No, but I'll never forget asking Alex if he thought I needed to replace the roof over the area that they were going to tear up. And being in the roofing industry himself, he said that our roof was actually done very well so I'm sure the company wasn't just trying to get every $ they could. The various teams that came in through the various parts of the project, from demolition, framing, electrical, and plumbing were all very professional and answered and explained in detail whenever I had a question (and believe me, I had plenty!). I would highly recommend RIJI Home improvements and Handywork again. They really felt like partners throughout the entire process.

I recently hired RIJI Home improvements to renovate two bathrooms in my 3 bedroom apartment. Both bathrooms were on the small side, the bigger one having a bath which wasn't used at all. I wanted to take out the bathroom and make a large shower as well as changing the floor to ceiling tiles and adding a hanging toilet and vanity, so it would be easier to clean. I more or less had a plan of the layout and colors. But wasn't quite closed about the layout. RIJI's designers made some big improvements on our original plans and offered some original advice about the layout that we would never have thought of by ourselves. The original bathroom was quite dark and I wanted to go for a lighter more minimal look. I can't believe how different both bathrooms look after the renovations. There is lots of light and much more space, yet we still have the same amount of storage space. I am very happy with the work that has been done. The team of workers that arrived everyday where very professional and pleasant to work with. I hired RIJI Home improvements on the recommendation of a friend, and have no regrets about that choice. I wont think twice about hiring these guys again.
