Description of Work: Our cleaning lady is Nilda. She's thorough and efficient. We have a 900sq ft loft. She come on a biweekly basis and does the following: 1. Wipes down all counter tops and surfaces 2. Washes stove top 3. Scrubs bathroom tub, sink and floor 4. Wipes the windows 5. Dusts 6. Sweeps/vacuums and mops 7. Takes out the garbage and recycling

Description of Work: I purchased this deal for my daughter as a present. I wanted to have her apartment cleaned for her. We were both quite excited about this deal, however, that enthusiasm wore off immediately once she called to book her appointment. She spoke to Ms. Rodriguez as per the instructions in the email. The customer service was atrocious. She was told that she would only be able to redeem her deal as a four hour single worker deal. In the Angie's List deal, it was stated that it was redeemedable in two options. One being 2 workers for 2 hours. This was the option she needed as she works and takes care of her grandmother. Ms. Rodriguez did not care what the deal mentioned. She said that it would be a waste of her employees time to travel into Brooklyn and clean my daughters apartment. Complaining that they have schedules and need to work. Amazing! My daughter explained that she could not leave a cleaner alone with her 97 year old grandmother and the deal was only purchased because of the flexibility. After being on the phone for 10 minutes the representative said that she could wait until there were other jobs "on her block" and then perhaps she could have two people dispatched. The whole process has been a waste of time and money. This was my first time purchasing anything from Angie's List and will most likely be the last. Having this woman explaining that her "workers need to work" would make you think that they would be happy for the job but I suppose not. Shame is she only wanted two rooms cleaned. I would suggest you close the screen on your computer if you see anything from the "Quality Cleaning Company". The only quality they offer is a very poor level of costumer service and horrendous work ethic. Way to have a gift go wrong. Also, may I mention, that the company claimed no responsibility in the false information printed on Angie's List. They suggested she call them and complain since it was after all their fault I was under the impression that I could receive 2 people in 2 hours. I am totally disappointed. My daughter was so disgusted by Ms. Rodriguez's attitude, it isn't even funny. It was only after threats of writing a bad review that she started to try and make amends for her terrible service. Too late. Please, save yourself the aggravation and don't even bother calling this company. Perhaps Angie's list should be more careful about the way they word their deals. Or better yet, take caution when promoting a comapny.

Description of Work: My long and rather narrow hallway was a no-man's-land, with 3 bookcases that were overflowing with what felt like zillions of books. I had a new, larger cubby-type bookcase that I thought would hold and tame the monster book collection. The Quality Cleaning woman was fantastic--not only did she help to remove all those books, putting them in huge stacks in my living room, but she placed them in the hallway's cubby bookcase in a very organized, pleasing-to-the-eye manner. She also made sure the books were dusted off, and she wanted the hallway itself to be spic and span before putting the books in their new space. I could never have done this without her organizing (and tedious placement of all those books. Great work, great job!

Description of Work: I initially contracted w/this servicer through on of sites "Big deal". They usually pick up right away and if you do get a voicemail it is not long before you get an email or a return call. In my case it was short notice both times and both times they was able to send an employee to help. They do require you do have most of the products needed to do the work. But for the fee I guess that's pretty fair. And there was never a time that I was told "I don't do that" or "I can't do that" it was always "Well let me see how I can get that done". The "Big Deal" was simply to help me do a deep clean on my apartment but when I called for a 2nd time to be charged market price it was to clean an entire apartment after prior to a new tenant coming in. The incoming tenant and I were pretty satisfied. I must admit, the 2nd time they came it was for about four hours and because the apartment was already vacant and clean to the eye I thought everything would have been completely spotless-dust in the corners, inside closets, small paint splatterings on the floor. However, I am an extreme neat freak so it may be impossible for anyone to satisfy that.

The offer states that the cleaning includes regular cleaning plus doors, baseboards, blinds, picture frames, etc. The offer also states that Ideal will take as long as needed. The price is based on square footage - my square footage is actually smaller than the offer.
