Great service and execution. Project management was top notch and the crew was competent.

The job was done quickly and nicely. The people were nice and easy to deal with. We are happy with everything.

Did not use because they never got back to me after I received the estimate. I had left 1 or more voice messages as well as sent 1 or 2 e-mails. They were not the cheapest price, higher by about $100-150, but said they could complete in 2 days and worked Sat & Sun, I liked that because I wouldn't have to take any time off of work.

(Copying my wife's review from Yelp) Precision Painting Plus were a pleasure to work with and did a great job with our apartment. It was easy to communicate with them on setting up an in-house estimate and on specific requests for the job. They accommodated a pretty tight schedule (we scheduled the job within 2 days of the estimate), had a competitive price, came in on time and got done within the estimated timeframe. The painters were friendly, professional, and cleaned up after themselves well. And the walls look great! Overall an excellent experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I’d describe my overall experience with this company as chaotic and unorganized. Items that were discussed at the initial walk through and part of the work order came as a surprise when the job was being executed. And then I was blamed for "last minute" changes. They operate using project managers - I think I had 3 or 4 project managers throughout each telling me something different and only 1 with the authority to make a decision. Initially someone came around to go through the scope of work and give me an estimate. We had discussed different options that to my mind would be recorded or communicated to the workers. For example, we had discussed using a specific baseboard molding. This person giving me the estimate passed off the project to another project manager who never bothered to coordinate details with me prior to work beginning. In fact he had never seen and would never see the space so discussing things with him was difficult. This second project manager, arrogant as he was, would tell me things like "in my professional opinion it won’t look good." Even though he had never seen the space. This was all designed to force me into a decision that would make their jobs easier. The entire job they did felt rushed and not at all well planned. When yet a third project manager showed up on site on the day work was to begin, the painters did not. They were at another site and had to be called over. We were also missing the ceiling paint when the materials arrived. There was also no primer even though it was specified in the work order. They were painting over nearly black walls in my bathroom with a tint of gray. Yet there was no primer. I was told by this third project manager that it was self-priming paint. I’m doubtful about that and also wonder how the paint job will hold up. Even though installing baseboard molding had been part of the statement of work, there were no plans to install it. No one knew who was going to do it let alone what kind of baseboard to install (even though this had been discussed with initial project manager who came to give me an estimate.) I was told by the arrogant project manager that at this late notice all he can get is XYZ baseboard. I was forced to go with this to get the job done. The painters did an OK job. They were extremely rushed. To my surprise there were about 6 of them. They could’ve done a better job covering the floors (I’m having to go and scrape off paint.) They could’ve done a better job with edges. In one area where the wall meets the ceiling it's very sloppy. They also painted around things instead of removing them painting and putting back. At one point I noticed they painted around a frame on the wall instead of just taking it off. I had to really keep my eye on them to make sure they did a complete job. Between about 4 so-called project managers and 6 painters in a 900 square foot apartment, you can see why my experience was chaotic. Perhaps too many cooks in the kitchen. At any rate I will not be using them for future projects. It is so much easier to just coordinate directly with whomever is doing the work. They were supposed to have emailed me receipts for the materials I paid for, but I never received any. They charged me for materials not used. I should mention to their advantage they say they absorbed the cost of the wallpaper hanger showing up and not being able to work because I didn’t buy enough wallpaper but without seeing materials receipts who knows. This is not a high-end operation. To me this is for mega landlords who want to slap a fresh coat of paint before the next tenant moves in.

It all started when I decided to go with this company based on the reviews. From the beginning, the process was a breeze. I called to have a company manager come estimate the project. The price was reasonable so it was a "no brainer" to hire them to do the job. Day-one started with a contractor that prepped the iron. There was also a company "manager" that overlooked the project. Once the prepping was done, another crew showed up to paint - in addition to another project "manager" I had not met before. At this point I was a little confused why they had: 1. Project manager/rep giving quote #1 2. Project manager #2 3. Project manager #3 As a past painter for many years, I myself know customers don't like dealing with multiple "project managers" as information doesn't get translated very easily between multiple people "in-charge". I was not happy with this scenario. Once the painting started, the job outlined was clear as day. 1. Prep and prime rusted spots on iron, 2. Paint two coats of exterior paint. Fortunately I was able to watch the contractors paint - in addition to see a project manager watch the job being done. This was done over several days with either of the project managers on site. After the first coat of paint, they started packing up and mentioned to me they were done with "two coats"; clearly a lie as I watched them paint one coat. After confronting one of the two project managers why they had only done one coat, they suggested I was wrong and they were finished (even after showing them unpainted spots in multiple places). It took a little convincing they were clearly lying and had them do another coat. They agreed and went over it another time very briefly. At this point I was so mad, I just wanted the job done. I was really caught off-guard by the quality of work was so bad and the shady-ness of this company, given the great reviews. All of the managers were very nice and mentioned they would not leave the project until I was happy however, the incomplete work and having the customer call them out on a simple task did not go over well. I wouldn't recommend this company. There are just too many people "in charge" and the overall experience wasn't very personal as a customer. As a customer, my suggestion would be to scale down the number of managers on each project and have the sales rep step-in and meet the customer face to face on any issues when a customer is not happy.

Precision painting took my house to the next level. They helped me complete our kitchen and making our space more livable. We moved a partially functioning refrigerator cabinet to the other side of the room and finished it out with countertops. In the spot where the refrigerator lived, we dropped a pantry and made another closet under the stairs. The house is so much more functional now. Ido really worked with me to stay as close as possible to our estimate, which was good because as work started I had a family emergency occur that cost me literally thousands of dollars and my flex money was tight. Ido really made the project come together. I look forward to working with them again.

Hire this company and you will have first class customer service and results !!!! I had interviewed 3 other companies before we chose to go with Precision Painting Plus. Their price point was comparable to the other companies I interviewed but what I got for my money was much more. I was promised 2 men for one day on my project. I got two men, a foreman (who also did some of the repair work) and a team leader. The paint and supplies arrived at my front door the morning of and the crew shortly thereafter. The work areas were protected the light & outlet switch plates removed and repairs made before the painting started. Let me tell you...I cannot even see the repairs (our renovations had left fist sized holes in the wall)! The paint job is flawless and the clean up after...meticulous. We actually ran out of one color before the second coat had been applied and the team leader for my project had an extra can at my door within a 1/2 hour. Amazing! I have already mapped out projects in my head where I will be using them again. Could not be happier!

Terrific work! Great communication! Since they finished the room early, they went ahead and patched some holes in other rooms, too. Great people to work with.

Overall it went well with some issues. The quality is fair but I was hoping for better. Wasn't expecting sub contractors, I was told they were company employees but it was obvious they weren't. Minor punctuality issues. My rating can change based on how well the 2 year warranty holds up.

The work was excellent, completed on time and the staff were extremely considerate. I would recommend them to anyone !

First time I have left a review for a service provider and first time using Angies list for a one as well. To make a long story short, we had some damage done to our new condo and I decided to check out Angies list bc I have heard good things. Immediately, I searched for the provider with the most stars and highest grade and came upon Precision Paint. I reached out to Sean (head estimator) who was very thorough and professional on the phone and even more so when he came to look at the apt. Once it was time to get the job started we were then handed off to Chris (project manager I assume) and we received our estimate, locked in a time frame and off they went. The crew of workers (all of them) were respectful, clean in their work, timely and professional. They were able to paint, sheet rock, put back furniture and clean the entire apt ahead of schedule and also offer a 1 year guarantee for their work (although I doubt I will need to use it). So, these guys are as good as anyone I have ever worked with and highly recommend them to anyone who needs painting/sheet rocking/flooring done. Thanks to Sean, Chris and Precision. These guys really are as good as their rating?

I had them come out and do some more work and they did an amazing job.

Overall, the project went well. The painter showed up close enough to on-time, was highly respectful and worked quickly. The project was anticipated at 3 days; they were done in a day and a 1/2 ....awesome. These guys are not cheap ( I was ok with that ...I wanted high quality) so I guess I was surprised when I noticed they hadn't painted behind my very easy to move (on wheels) refrigerator and missed some other pretty visible areas. I will say when I called them about it they responded fairly promptly and came back to finish the job. I've noticed other missed areas since but it's not worth another trip so I'll do those touch-ups myself. Also, as with another reviewer, I found little paints dots on my hardwood floor and a few drips...nothing glaring but again, I had a high level of expectation given the cost of the work. Would I hire them again? Probably. I really wanted to give an A rating but just can't because while it was better than good work, it wasn't excellent work.

*Precision Painting Plus was a great one-stop shop for everything we needed(contracting, painting, etc.) and they did a really fantastic job on our apartment!**Their quote was by far the most reasonable of several we received and the quality of the work was superb, so it really felt like a great value for our money. They were also very conscientious with cleaning up after themselves and causing as little commotion as possible for our neighbors,besides just one or two minor noise complaints, which the company dealt with immediately and very satisfactorily.**In particular, working with Alan, Ido and Eddie was a real pleasure! They were always available to talk on the phone or swing by the apartment, and really went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the work(including coming by this past week to do a few final touch-ups). Overall,the level of service they provided was really excellent.**We plan to use them for our next few projects (e.g. bathroom renovation,wallpapering, etc.) and can't recommend them enough to anyone else in Jackson Heights or Queens who's looking for a painter or contractor.*

I was very pleased from start to finish with Precision Painting Plus. Ken was our project manager and was helpful every step of the way. During the walk through, it was obvious he was knowledgable and had a lot of integrity for the work. Contracting was smooth and the painters started on time. I expected the job to go for longer than they originally quoted me- but they finished up exactly when they said they would. They even helped put in some crown molding where it was missing, by "helped" I mean Ken identified the issue, found matching materials, and had it installed and painted. I couldn't have been happier. Ken did a walk through with me on the last day to ensure everything was up to my standards. I thought their job was excellent. Ken was more discerning than I was and had his workers go over a section again to make sure it was perfect. I will certainly use Precision Painting for any other painting needs I have.

I am very satisfied with the job.

All went very well. First, Alan, the senior project manager, came within 4 days of us calling Precision Painting Plus, to give us an estimate and then scheduled a start date for 4 days later. On the first day, Anthony, the project manager for this job, arrived with the painters, to make sure the drop-cloths were laid properly, and that all was in order. Anthony was timely and professional. The 2 painters arrived at 8:30 a.m. and worked until 4:30 p.m. That day they scraped, spackled, and primed walls, ceilings, window sills, and finished the living room, using 2 coats of paint. The next day, a 3-man crew arrived at 9:15 a.m., and continued to paint the 2 bedrooms and ceilings, a hallway and ceiling and an old radiator. They worked until 8 p.m., finishing the job. Anthony did a walk-through at the end to guarantee our satisfaction. The painters were clean, courteous and efficient, and even carried a vanity up to the third floor for us. We will definitely use Precision Painting Plus again.

Precision Painting did a great job and provided 2 painters, when I was originally supposed to have 1. They were extremely efficient and the work looks great. I will have them back when the rest of the apartment is ready to be painted. Their project manager responsible for overseeing Angie's List orders is very organized and works with the client to keep them satisfied.

Out of a 5 star rating, I'd give a 4. There were a lot of positive factors that I really liked about PPP. First of all, speaking with the company and the project manager was extremely pleasant and they are super professional. After quickly setting up an estimate appointment, Evan came and he was efficient and professional. Out of all the estimates we received, we felt that although they were not the least nor most expensive, they were reasonable and the best to work with. The project manager Jason was also very professional and had great communication throughout the project. He was on time and very transparent when we needed more paint and gave a detailed list of what was purchased. What I personally appreciated the most was that the guys at PPP were willing to work with me knowing that my due date was quickly approaching. They were able to squeeze our project in earlier than anticipated knowing that I was 8-9 months pregnant, and I was truly impressed that they went out of their way for us. They also work very fast, finishing our entire interior (hallways, living room, kitchen, stairs, master bedroom, second hallway, doors/trim) in only 2 days. It was also amazing to not smell the paint at all when we came home, but that may be because of the quality of the paint that we purchased (Benajmin Moore Natura). So why not 5 stars? The actual quality of the paint job itself was average. Little things we noticed throughout, like paint specks and drops on the floors and some colored paint on the white ceiling. Nothing that we won't be able to fix later ourselves, but it's annoying to have to fix it period. Also, a few days later when I was lowering the window shade, I noticed that paint dripped onto the shades so we will have to get that replaced unfortunately. Lastly, the cleanup could have been better. I get that they need to use the sink for the project, but I had to use my steel wool to scrub off the paint/water splattered on the kitchen sink and counter. So overall, would I recommend them? Absolutely, but don't expect a perfect paint job.

It was great experience. Painters were professional.The crew of guys were very neat and tidy. The lead painter Slovak is great guy in asking questions and following instructions. My walls look ideal now. In general: I have got perfect walls.

Excellent. Sean was great and on top on the job in estimating and scheduling the work. Very happy with the outcome.

They did a perfect job. They took down the blinds and pictures. Nothing was damaged. The people were very nice. They didn't leave until everything was inspected and to our liking. They brought 5 people and got the job done in one day.

Overall a brilliant job. Alan, Anthony and Eddie and his team did a great job. They were able to complete all of the work in 2 days! At one point I think I counted Eddie and 4 others painting the place. They were also pretty tidy with minor drops of paint here and there but to be honest painting is a messy job and this was not an issue. The place looks so much better with all of this work complete. On the last day of painting everyone waited around while I did a final inspection and pointed out a few things I was unhappy with, without 20 minutes all of the issues were rectified. Just before they were due to leave I did notice a screw was missing from one of the AC vents (nothing major). I did ask Anthony if he knew where it was, it ended up being trashed. However Anthony went that extra mile and picked up a brand new set of identical screws and delivered them to me next day. This really wasn't a big deal as I am going to replace the vents anyway but great service! Would I use them again? Without a doubt. Great job guys.

These guys were great. Ido is professional and very communicative. He also does a good job of managing the job, as well as the customer's (my) expectations. In the end, they did everything they came to do, and then even touched up the wall and ceiling of my basement stairs. I'd have them come back to do additional work in the future. Thanks.
