They bring a unique understanding and perspective based on personality/desires and have done for me what I cannot do - or avoid doing - for myself. They make what feels completely overwhelming incredibly simple and they do it with professionalism, laughter and flair. Description of Work: Not sure why this service is listed at all. When I contacted them after reading a rave review said - I'm paraphrasing - we don't do that anymore. We are focusing on our website now. So, is Angie's list just a way to drive traffic to their site? If you go there you will see it is full of ads.

+ -1 moreThey were very willing to chat with me over the phone to identify what I was going to need. They were very willing to work around my mother's accessibility needs. They were very helpful in coming up with some ideas and in giving me suggestions. They gave me a reasonable pricing. They gave me all of the pricing and then told me that if I didn't want to pay to fly someone out that they could come up with a detailed plan and I could do it myself. They were very quick about sending me a very detailed plan. They were very people friendly.

+ -1 moreWhile I can be a little controlling, especially when it comes to my own home, the Pixies put me at ease by letting me know exactly what they were thinking every step of the way. Then I would come home and everything would be different - but in a way I was prepared for and truly enjoyed letting someone else take control and make things better! I love and have a much easier time in our "new" home...
Description of Work: The two "pixies", as they call themselves, first emailed me a profile and questionnaire to find out what it was i didn't like about how my home was organized and how i wanted it to be. They then returned four times and every time I came home a different section of my (small one bedroom) home was organized, rearranged, and made more generally sane. I specified that I wanted room for a dining room table and with some pixie magic, the drop leaf table I had stashed behind an armchair had its own space in my living room. They worked with what I had and suggested a few items for purchase to further aide in our organization project. Now my husband and I have an apartment better suited to our hopes and uses. Pixie Magic!
