The personnel didn't come back to finish the work he started. The door that was put in doesn't have a good quality. He's very unprofessional.

Phillips Home Improvement came through and were very patient, walked me through the process and explained what they were going to use, and even gave samples. Before they started work, one of the owners came to my house to resign the contract and he didn't write everything down, which lead to them not doing the front and back sun porch. The project manager was a hassle to talk to about it and denied that an electrical problem could even happen from their installation. I liked the company and their product, but i didn't like the project manager and how he handled everything.
Description of Work: Phillips Home Improvement installed a new roof for $27,000 dollars.

Time estimate was excellent and work completed within the time and price. Bathroom work was outstanding--tiles even, two coats of paint, very smooth, bathroom is beautiful. Super says it's the best bathroom in the building! We have 150 units. Clean up was excellent. They even took out the air conditioner and steam cleaned it in the basement as dust had crept in during demolition. I recommended this contractor to a close friend and will do so in future. He was recommended to me by others in my building who were happy with his work. I found another place to stay while work was being done, as I have only one bathroom and a small New York City apartment. I would recommend not staying home while work is being done unless there is another bathroom to use and a bedroom somewhat apart from the remodeling work. Workmen are very trustworthy and have been with contractor many years and my super looked in on them during the job.
Description of Work: Complete gutting of bathroom, removal of existing tile and floor and installation of cement wall board, plastering, new ceiling, upgrading of plumbing and electricity, C valve, new electric switch, tiling of floor, tub to ceiling installation of tile in shower around tub and half wall tiling on rest of bathroom. Installation of new lighting fixture, recessed medicine cabinet, sink, vanity and toilet. Installation of new bathroom door and painting of bathroom wall not tiled. Also upgraded electricity in kitchen and installed circuit breakers to replace old fuse box. Upgraded kitchen sink plumbing through the bathroom wall behind kitchen wall, so latter didn't have to be breached. Replaced rusted plumbing under the kitchen sink and installed new kitchen sink drain.
