Penny met with my parents on several occasions before any contract was signed. She was patient and nurturing while taking the a firm lead to demonstrate her knowledge and expertise without being overbearing. The scope of the work covered the following: Removing a wall between the kitchen and family room. Adding a small conservatory to the back of the kitchen Redoing the kitchen, and two bathrooms - from lighting to fixtures to cabinetry to flooring to the handmade tiles that she sourced from a local artist. Gutting three bedrooms - replacing the carpeting, creating unique wall treatments for each room, and furnishing each room so that each one was unique, yet there was an overall flow. The living room and dining rooms were treated to facelifts with new carpeting, new furniture and updated artwork.

Renovation is always hard, yet Penelope's team made the process fun and simple. They were always prepared with new and fresh ideas. Every detail was thoroughly attended and thought through. We are so happy with the result and feel like we are living in our dream home. We were so happy, that we are now renovationg our NYC apartment with Penelope. And...we have recommended Penelope to three of our friends - who are are equally happy and excited.

She is really a brilliant designer. She diligent, responsible, creative. She's a wonderful person to wroth with - she's very attune to what the client needs along with her own creative vision. Many designers don't do both well and she was absolutely brilliant putting them together. She is definitely high end but the end result was worth the price. The room is not only stunning but wonderful to actually live in as well.
