OXFORD MAIDS

I was not entirely happy with Oxford Maids' service quality. On the positive side, your team of Katrina and Jackie arrived on time, were pleasant, and did a satisfactory job cleaning the things they cleaned. The problem was they neglected to do the following: ? Clean the blinds or interior windows in the 2 bedrooms (they did living room blinds and windows) - we were told than cleaning the interior and blinds of the apartment's windows were included in the initial cleaning. Note that they also failed to clean the bottom of the living room blinds. ? Dust the desk in the guest bedroom. ? Dust the desk lamp or lampshade in the guest bedroom. ? Dust the dining room side table. ? Vacuum near the dining room side table. ? Clean the soap tray or soap dish in the guest bathroom. ? Clean the kitchen sink with Comet (it's a porcelain sink and clearly should be cleaned with an abrasive cleanser, just like a bathtub). ? Clean the plastic dish tray in the kitchen sink ? Clean the kitchen floor (I found crumbs right after the team left - these would have been picked up if they had cleaned the kitchen floor). In addition, I was bothered that I was not informed that Katrina was substituting for Denise. As you may recall from the June 1 or June 2 conversation, you said we should expect the team of Jackie and Denise, but Katrina arrived instead. I understand that it is sometimes necessary to send a different cleaner than the person promised, but it is important for the sake of safety and security to inform the customer beforehand.

I would recommend them in the future.

I will say this company was okay. I guess no one is going to clean my home as well as I would. They only sent one person to do the job though and then that person had to call in reinforcement because they didn't properly understand how large this job actually was. I actually would use them again though and tell others that the quality of the work is pretty decent.

I have been using this service for about six months. Quality was better at the beginning, but sometimes the service simply would not show up and there was no call from the headquarters. They started regularly sending somebody. The last few months the quality has been fair to poor. A lot of them like to dust with paper towels (odd!), rather than soft clean cotton rags or Swiffer's. One cleaner dusted very poorly and did not touch the venetian blinds. They sent another. There was a slight improvement. However, she sprayed the blinds with cleaner, which went right through to smear the window behind! (She apparently did not notice.) Further, the blinds were smeared and actually dirtier AFTER the cleaning. I conclude that the cleaners don't really know the basics of cleaning and often lack common sense.

THIS WAS A GOOD COMPANY. THEY CAME IN AND I THOUGHT THEY DID A GOOD JOB. I THOUGHT THE WORK WAS OF GOOD VALUE BECAUSE THERE WAS A LOT OF CLEANING TO DO.
