Move-it 4 Less

I had scheduling issues on my end, they were very accomodating, helpful and responsive. The three hours were spent loading the truck. The additional fees involved the transportation in between locations, the travel charge from their base to the original location and back from the end location to their base and the unloading. They had a crew of three. They did a great job and I had no issues with their service.

The experience turned out very good. They moved things twice for us. They first moved things from the storage, and the next day they came out and moved other thing. They were prompt, efficient, and competent. We liked the first job that they did, and so we contracted them again for a bigger job. The service worked out well.

These guys were great, worked efficiently, we were very happy.

It went pretty well, no problems. The guys arrived before expected to have a look at what was to be moved. There was a small glitch with the management office, but after that was resolved, the guys worked and worked until it was done. Nothing broken, nothing scratched. They were prompt, carefull professional and courteous. They moved heavy oak dressers up an "L" shaped staircase.

The job was done well and on time. And I would like to say that the owner was very clear and communicative on the phone. Checking in and confirming the start time, and they were a few minutes early. The owner provided 3 guys, at my request, but also showed up himself, which ran me more money since they all worked very quickly and hard, I felt obligated to tip each of the four men, which (on my budget) I did not expect all 4 however. I work in service industry myself, so individual tips are important to me when doing business. One thing~ the owner was clear to have me sign a statement that I would be responsible for any parking tickets associated with the truck. I said I would sign, but that since there were 4 people, I expected one to be out at all times watching the truck. That was not done. There were no parking or ticket issues, however, someone walked off with a plastic bucket filled with nice house painting brushes, scrapers, and sand paper. Probably $100 bucks worth of stuff. My mistake was that I did not go down to street level myself to keep watch during the move. I found out that no one had been watching my stuff when I left my old apt. to go to the new place to meet the crew when they arrived. I should have made it my business to be downstairs watching while they moved things downstairs and left them in my building lobby, but I wanted to be sure they took my stuff only, no my former roommates. I would use this company again, because they were nice, quick, and there was no damage whatever to my things. (I also am a good organizer and pre-wrapped everything very well. Saves time and money.) It's the first time I hired an entire crew to move my things, so I count this as experience. I gave this company pretty high marks, but wanted to alert any folks who are not experienced with movers in NYC. In the end, it was worth the cost of the extra tip, just wish I'd known ahead of time. Best, probably, to have a friend with you so one can stay inside the apt. and one on street level.

The guys were very prompt, professional and creative, as I had the floors in the apt re-done and had to fit all of my belongings into one storage facility. The deal is for 3 hrs but one is the standard driving into and out of the city, so it is really 2. They worked hard to keep me under budgeted amount. Tip them well.

It was average but nothing amazing. I felt like there were a lot of hidden costs. The movers were nice but they were a bit unprofessional. The moved my entire apartment including furniture. I wished the fine print on the deal just wasn’t so fine, and was more straight-forward and then I would have been more prepared for the total cost.

They were good. Their cost was good. I was moving in New York, it was probably in some cases $1000 cheaper than other companies. Overall of the 3 people who were out there 2 of them were excellent and 1 man was the foreman, figuring out the truck and how to pack everything. He was really good. The driver, he was also really good. The third helper was not so good dropped a couple of things, damaged two different things.

These guys busted their butts moving me from Brooklyn to New Jersey on a crazy hot day in early October. Hardworking, punctual, pleasant and polite... what else do you want from a mover?

The team Petros sent was great! Very friendly, super fast and really, really thoughtful. They helped me put my son's crib together too on the other side. This was purchased as a Big Deal, and I didn't end up saving as much as I hoped... HOWEVER, the quality was so amazing that it was worth every penny. Peace of mind is definitely worth that.

I do not have any problem issues with the service. My issue was the price. The coupon stated 3 men for 3 hours for $279.00. My session lasted 5 hours. somehow I was made to pay for an hour travel. My total bill was $682 which included $82. in supplies. I felt mislead.

I am very happy with this deal I got through Angie's List. Petros from Move-It-4-Less was in immediate contact with me after I purchased the deal (3 hours moving services for $279, extra time was ~$125/hour) and was able to schedule me within my desired time range. The movers arrived at the unit on time, were professional, and tried their best to be cautious when moving our things - something the previous movers we had did not do which resulted in some damage to our belongings. They were also responsive and careful when moving the furniture about at our house, as we had just had the floors redone. The total price for the work was about half that of what we paid for approximately the same amount of time when we moved our things into storage - and the Move-It-4-Less guys were much more professional and careful. A great deal!

Excellent, except at the end I tipped the four men $40 for two hours and they were very disappointed. They said $100 was normal.

The service was good. They were very courteous and pleasant to deal with for a standard move.

This was the BEST moving experience we have ever had, and we are seasoned movers. Pedros, the owner, was always available by phone or email, and always answered our questions with no hurry or complaint. He charged the most reasonable price - - we realize now that we were ripped off very badly when we moved last time as we compared price, attitude of the movers, promptness, and quality of work. Three movers arrived on time, which is no small feat when you consider the traffic in midtown Manhattan. We could not believe how quickly they worked and how well they worked together. They had our large one bedroom apartment packed and moved in no time - it was honestly the best and most efficient work of movers we have seen. We moved to a walk up, and received no complaints nor problem as our new apartment was much smaller and they were gracious enough to consider the smallness of our new place and did their best to make sure we could maneuver around boxes and furniture. Also, our furniture is very heavy and some pieces quite large - still not one complaint as they went up and down the stairs; just hard work and good attitude. We would definitely use Move-It 4 Less again, and would highly recommend them to any and everyone. Pedros even called after our move to make sure we were happy - that does not happen often and was much appreciated by us. As we said, the best!

These guys showed up to our apartment at 8:30 am with the best attitude ready to get us to where we wanted to be. They wasted no time and were professional and respectful of your property. All you have to do is your part and packing in advance and things will go most smoothly. Sadiqi and his team never took breaks and were about the business, so they earned the tips for sure. Moved was completed end to end in around 4 hours.

It went very well. The movers were expedient at packing and moving. The transport went without a hitch and the furniture arrived in perfect condition. The movers set everything up at my daughter's apartment.

Dear Angie I am writing on behalf of Move-it 4 Less who moved me to & from in Brooklyn on Aug 30,2013. I had a very good experience through-out. I coordinated in advance with Petros,the Owner.He set everything up and did what he said he would do. Very professional. The truck arrived early and the young men got to work straight away. Jay, the leader, organized thesequence of the loading. He personally wrapped the furniture, flat screen TV, fragiles,with blankets and plenty of tape. Our route included a stop mid way to pick items up at a friend?s house. No problem, no drama. It was three floors down, then two floors up.It was a very hot afternoon, and they worked straight through. I kept them hydrated with energy drinks and sandwiches. Jay again unwrapped the big stuff, assembled the bed frame, mounted a mirror on the dresser. They cleaned everything up and took empty boxes away. I do not hesitate to recommend Move 4 Less based on my very satisfied experience. Robert

The company has been around for a long time. It was very convenient. It went OK.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were great. They were nice guys and took the furniture to my boy friend's mom's house and helped her move it where she wanted it.

I would use them again. friendly, professional and quick.
