Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for moving. They moved us from one home to another.

Description of Work: Almost all of the dishes and glassware and other breakables were in pieces.The only way that could have happened was they were not careful and tossed the boxes around.. We purposely put bubble wrap and cushioned them with towels, so it couldn't have happened if they were careful. I gave them a good rating the first time when they put everyting in storage and did not see anything until they were taken to the apartment the second time. They were notified, but said it was not their fault. So, no, I would not use them in the future and I would never recommend them to anyone else. I have to buy all new dishes, etc. (We also tipped them very well both times and I'm so sorry that we did)

Description of Work: I was scheduled to moved from the Bronx to Queens Village at 7 am. These guys arrived at 6:50 am! Packed all items within an hour. I had 2 closets that they informed me would not hold up during the trip but they would give it a try. Both closets made it with a few nicks here and there but they would not fit through the doorway to the basement. I applaud these guys for at least trying. My only gripe is that after the move I was missing a fan. When all three guys were moving one of my items, I believe my felon of a neighbor saw fit to steal one of my fans when no one was looking. I know it was him because he was the only one on the street chatting up these guys. He is one of the reasons for the move. I do not blame these guys at all. Either my son or myself should have been watching the truck when the three guys were in the apt. All in all, it was a smooth move. These guys were very professional and courteous. I was very satisfied with the service.

Description of Work: I had to change my date twice but they were very accommodating. The day of the move they were on time and we worked for 4 hours straight with lots of discussion and review so each piece, each box each part of the load was taken care of. The men were great and soper responsive.

Description of Work: The guys moving the furniture were great. However, the day of our move the owner or manager showed up unannounced at our apartment to pick a fight. Then proceeded to tell my roommate that he was considering pulling our job the day of the move for easier jobs that would make him more money. That's not cool. We had the movers scheduled weeks in advance and you do not show up to a move pick a fight in hopes the client will pull the job (might I add I had already paid $300 in advance with an Angie's list coupon for the company which is non refundable) in hopes the client will pull the job so he can take my $300 not move me into my new apartment and leave to go and have his crew work on "easier jobs" I also supplied addition labor to make the job easier on the movers. I would recommend to all using this company to be cautious and even if you have a one flight walk up be extra cautious.

Where they ran into issues we either worked around them efficiently, or brought me in the loop so that I had an understanding of what was the situation. Description of Work: Move it 4 Less was fantastic. The service was impeccable. The owner, Petros is a warm and caring man, so easy and such a pleasure to deal with. The two young men who he assigned to do the move, Davis and William were totally amazing. They packed, moved, and helped me get set up in my new apartment. They were fine young gentlemen who were a pleasure to work with and get to know; of the highest integrity. I would recommend Move it 4 Less to anyone. I was delighted with my experience. They are a true gem.

Description of Work: They met me in the Public Storage and took out everything from my storage unit and moved it to my home. It was hree guys and the were awesome. They took care of all of my furniture and were very professional.

Description of Work: WOW WOW WOW!!! What more can I say about these guys. They were great. I initially spoke with Petros about stoping by to give me a quote. He and a helper showed up on a Sunday as scheduled. He could see that I had done all the packing myself (125 boxes). He complimented me on my organization. I had a one bedroom apartment about 500sqft. He informed me that the move would take about 6 hours in total time. I was floored by that estimate because all the other companies were estimating about 8 to 9 hours. One even thought it would take 10 hours. When I asked how is that possible his helper chimed in that they don't waste time, they hustle when they work. For price he offered me the choice of going hourly or flat rate. I asked what his flat rate was. He offered to do the move for $500. I asked why so low? His answer was "you essentially did a good deal of the work with the packing". I really appreciate that kind of honesty. Especially when the other movers I received quotes from quoted anywhere from $1200 to $1600. We agreed on 4 movers. I had informed him that I had another piece of furniture to be picked up from another location. He said that wouldn't be a problem. He would do it for $90 more. I asked what form of payment he accepts and when he should be paid. He said a money order or certified check would be fine and that I wouldn't have to pay until the job was done. I really like that about Petros and I had a good feeling about him. We shoke on it to seal the deal. I would like to make a small note about when he agreed to be paid. Every other moving company I spoke with wanted to be paid before they would remove anything off the truck at the new location. By Petros agreeing to be paid after the move was completed, showed me that he thought the customer should be satisfied with the total job before paying. Decisions like that mean a lot to people like me in deciding who gets my business. Keep in mind I was prepared to pay the way the other movers wanted to be paid.
