 + 0 moreThe stagger was very attentive , made recommendations and did all of the footwork to make ensure that our project met our quality standards -- but stayed within our extremely tight budget. Overall the service was excellent and affordable. They were so good that after the project we decided not to sell the apartment !
Description of Work: We used this service to find, vet and select contractors and materials to assist us with recommendations that they made during the initial home staging consultation.

 + 0 moreIn the tight New York City real estate market, our prewar one bedroom with office and baby was no easy sell. Marlene assessed the space, took pictures and planned out the best layout. She rearranged furniture, put in new bedding, drapes, bathroom accessories, pictures, table top and even let us use pieces from her inventory. Marlene kept the prewar charm by accentuated the space and feel. Our apartment now shows very well. We have had much interest from buyers and expect to sell quickly.
Description of Work: Marlene completely overhauled our apartment's decoration and design to maximize the space, look and 'feel' of the apartment for showing purposes as we are selling.

 + 0 moreMarlene was a consummate professional. On time, on budget and right on target with her work. I highly recommend Marlene's talents as stager, whether you're selling your apartment, or just in need of a quick redesign.
Description of Work: As a real estate agent, I have first hand familiarity with Marlene s staging work. And, her results speak for themselves --- faster sales at higher prices! (One recent listing sold at its first open house and for more than the asking price!)In need of an interior lift , I invited Marlene to my apartment for a quick consultation, as she said she could use the same techniques that she uses in staging to make my home look new. Even though my living room was planned with an interior decorator 5 years ago, it had become stale and cluttered over time. Several hours later, my entire living room was re-arranged, de-cluttered and my collections were displayed in a way to really show them off. She also gave me a few new ideas for window treatments that I hope to implement in the near future.
