They very professional and they are polite. They did the work and they cleaned without a problem. They also did other work that needed to be done without extra cost. I strongly recommend them.

I researched and met with several companies before deciding to go with Manhattan. From the beginning, George and his staff were hands down the best. After doing a ton of research I had an idea on what my project would cost and what I was willing to pay and George accomodated me....again, very fairly and respecfully. It was such a breath of fresh air! He was able to squeeze me in and honestly, I was shocked at how quick and efficient he and his team were. My old roof was an absolute mess, had at least 6+layers and was bowing throughout. It was a huge project and his men ripped it off in record time (kept the debris from going everywhere with plastic and repeatedly vaccumed, which was also very much appreciated considering some contractors unfortunately don't seem to care about leaving nails and trash everywhere) and had my new roof up...all in under a week! And, it looks absolutely beautiful : ) I'm so happy I found Manhattan and will 100% use him in future

Needed to get a leak fixed that's been occurring for some time. My friend helped me with patching the leak, but it didn't work out. So I decided to hire someone professional. I found Manhattan Roofing online. Spoke to the owner George, I scheduled an appointment with them to check the leak, it turned out it was indeed a roofing issue. He gave me a reasonable quote ($2K) he and the team are highly flexible with the hours and the job was completed in only a few days. They got the job done in a timely manner. I would recommed them and use them again.

My best friend just bought a house in Brooklyn. He was looking to hire a team to do some roofing work. I recommended Ekram and his team from Innovation Construction. They did a great job on the roof over this weekend! The owner Ekram is very professional and responded to our request quickly. He kept his words about when the job would be done and did a terrific job. The price range was around $2K, reasonable based on their quality of work. I was not happy with the way my roof was looking. I was very eager to get in touch with a roofing service, so a contracting team could install new roofing, only problem was, I was very tentative on which service to use. My cousin recommended that I get in contact with this service, and I gave them a call. They were so nice over the phone, and the contractors that were sent to my home were very nice as well. They completed the installation in 2 days of work, and did a great job! Thanks!

This place is the best! We had a roofing emergency when our very old roof starting having some major leaking issues and needed a brand new roof. George came and gave us a fair and honest estimate. He was very knowledgable and professional. What I also really like about George is that he came by every day to supervise and check on the work being done and make sure we were happy and everything was going well. He also always answers his phone so, if you need him, he is there for you. At the end, when the work was done, we passed inspection of our roof on the first attempt and our roof not only strong and durable but it is also so aesthetically pleasing. Our house looks so nice! Manhattan also has the most amazing customer service and even with the good Yelp reviews, they exceeded our expectations in every way.

We used them to replace the roof on our 1930 craftsman house. They needed to remove 5 layers of roofing, install new plywood, call for inspection and Install new shingles. They got all of that done in 6 days. They pulled the permit for me, I didn't have to go to the city or anything and they passed all inspections on the first try.

Manhattan is awesome! A little background: my fiancée and I were in the process of purchasing a house in Woodside last summer. Our inspector advised a roof inspection as there seemed to be leaks. We made an appt with a local roofing company recommended by family. We waited almost 3 hours and they never showed up. No calls answered, nothing! In a bit of a panic, I went to yelp and saw that MR was rated highly. Called him and George picked up immediately! Miracle! Explained the situation and he was able to come out for the inspection 3 hours later. That same evening he emailed me a full report, job references and a quote. As it turned out, we needed an entire new roof. After we closed on the home, called George again and started the process of getting a new roof put on. He quoted us a super fair price. I think he quoted us 4 days but his team and him were finished in 2.5 days. They did an incredible job and were very quick. We loved his work ethic and personality. I really can't recommend him enough. 




I was so impressed with these guys… Great service delivery and they did everything I requested. It's so refreshing to have home repair folks that come when they say they will come and do things the right way! Really nice guys… I highly recommend!

Had a great experience in spite of the never-ending rain storm. They started work, got the roof off and the plastic undercover down. Then a 30% chance of rain turned into a 5 day storm. Not one drop of water got through the plastic. They kept me informed the entire time and continued to reassure me. Their price was very competitive and we are very happy with the end result.

These guys know their roofs George Stewart and all of his crew are honest, hardworking and skilled craftsmen. I was amazed when George, the owner himself, showed up to do the estimate. He was through and patiently explained everything to me, as well as how some other people make shortcuts without telling the homeowner. His estimate was fair, and below others I had seen. The crew showed up on time the first day, with George there himself to oversee the start of demolition of the old roof. Every day, they were on time or early, they worked hard in hot weather, they took care of my car and belongings, they cleaned up everything they could, and were cheerful and nice. I have NEVER seen a construction crew so professional, clean and nice. Project manager checked with his crew DAILY, but didn't need to, the head guy was on top of everything. The roof is wonderful, strong, well built, and lovely to behold from down the street. If I have any problems, I know who will handle it! These guys are the best!

I recently got a free quote from Manhattan Roofing and a few other roofing contractors. I wanted to re-roof the entire house. We've been living here for...well, a very long time now. The roof was starting to fall apart and it was making the house look older than it actually is. We got new shingles installed. They tore down the old shingles and tossed it. The crew worked fast. They even notified our neighbors that there would be some noise due to the roofing. I’ve worked with other roofing contractors in the past and was not happy with their work. That wasn't the case with Manhattan Roofing. They were easy to communicate with and knowledgeable and hard workers. The new shingles look great. I thought re-roofing would be so much harder than it actually was. So glad I found them!

Manhattan Roofing is beyond wonderful -- impeccably honest, highly competent, well-trained staff, and does a SUPERB job. They held their word on everything, but substantially exceeded my expectations. Their work is so good that even inspectors were impressed!

Manhattan Roofing provided a fast response to our interest in a quote, they came to our home evaluated the roof, provided samples and detailed information. From there we made our selection, the black presidential roof and scheduled a week to compete the work. They were on time each day, they work extremely clean and were meticulous with every detail, the price did not change and they provided me daily updates. I was so impressed with my experience! Needed a roofing repair, called endless numbers to have someone come out and no availability or weren't doing repairs .. then when I came across Manhattan Roofing, George answered and was able to come out SAME DAY and had the job done next morning!!! I had put off getting a new roof for as long as I could so when I started looking into getting quotes I had met with multiple companies and MR being one of them. George the owner came out and met with me twice before we decided to finally go through with it. His prices are the best I was able to find, and he's very confident in his work. He and his team of workers are very thorough, and will be there to answer any questions or concerns you have. Workers showed up on time and cleaned up at the end of every work day. If anyone I know is in need of a roof in the future they will definitely be the ones I recommend.

I run a store front restaurant in the city and last week we sprung a leak in our bathroom during dinner service due to the tenants that live upstairs. Needless to say this is a nightmare scenario on a busy Friday night. The next day, brunch service so we had to make an emergency call. We called around and got estimates for both cost and timing. Since my last review in 2017, I have replaced my home's entire roof as of October of 2019. Leaks in other areas of the house were apparent, so it was the best financial investment to replace the roof rather than continue with small repairs. George, the owner, was very informative in regard to choices of tile, engineering requirements, and city permits. He didn't push us one way or the other, and also shared with us the plus and minuses of each selection. The project took a full 7 days. At the end of each day, we received an email with an update of what was done and pictures of the process. His employees were professional, communicated well, wore uniforms, and cleaned up after each day. No debris was left behind. Our roof was completed prior to this string of rain storms we've been having since then and I am happy to report that there are no leaks!
