A talented craftsman, extraordinarily knowledgeable and very trustworthy, you can be assured the job will be done really well and on time. You won't be disappointed!

Description of Work: Christmas holiday decorations on short notice. Their method is to purchase for you the decorations you wish and to set up. Set up was about $1300. Not sure how it compares; I wanted to have the decorations done.

+ 11 moreInstalled a small approx. 2'x 5' partition in my bathroom using glass blocks, which I had already purchased. This was originally planned as a DIY project, to enable me to add a 3rd wall to my L-shaped bathtub area so that a circular shower rod could be mounted. When my building super looked at it, he suggested I get it professionally done so that when his workers mounted it they would have a stable area to work with. | |It was very difficult and frustrating trying find someone to do a job so small, and most that I contacted had an exorbitant minimum amount that they would come out for, and others refused the work outright. So I was thrilled to find that these guys would do it, and they were both pleasant and professional. After a few hiccups,(normal for this type of project) the job was completed much to my satisfaction. They're good people. My only caveat is that you must be flexible as far as timing, but they are open to handling challenging tasks.

Description of Work: Several years ago I had a contractor install recessed lighting throughout my entire apartment. I was trouble free for years when suddenly my living room and hallway lighting went out. A friend recommended Kaluna Creations and I was very happy to see the company on this web site. I contacted the company and spoke with Eddie and I explained the problem. We immediately set up an appointment , Eddie was extremely flexible and willing to work around my schedule. He arrived and conducted all preliminary investigation steps (switches, circuit box, outlets and even the bulbs ). He was unable find the problem and explained that several holes in the walls would be needed in several locations as he was unsure what my contractor had done. He supplied an estimate for the electrical repair, patching a maximum of 6 holes in the walls and painting. He was extremely pleasant and did not expect an immediate answer. I spoke to several friends all of who agreed the price was reasonable. I contacted Eddie and set up a date. I was present when the work was completely and Eddie talked me through every set. Unfortunately, 8 holes were needed but he was able to locate the problem and repair all electrical issues. It was a three day process: day one; the matter was resolved day two; spackle the walls day three; sand and paint They came prepared with all the needed equipment and supplied drop clothes and cleaned up.
