Description of Work: Hess restored a hand print plate my teenager made when she was 4. The plate had fallen from a shelf and broken into many pieces. Hess restored the plate and it looks like new! While they did take a long time to do the work, the result was completely worth the wait and I am very happy with the company. I certainly would recommend Hess for any antique/porcelain repair.

Description of Work: They repaired a China tea pot lid that I broke the knob off. They fixed it so well I can't see where it was broken. Amazingly good work. It's expensive and takes time, but if you have a treasured piece that needs repair this is the place to go. No credit cards.

+ -1 moreThey did a pretty good job although you can still see where the plate was broken. I thought the price was exceedingly high for the services rendered. It also took longer to do than expected. Having said that, if I hadn't found Hess on Angie's List, I have no idea where I could have brought this item to be fixed. They did a decent job and they might have been busy (in terms of how long it took). I guess my biggest complaint would be the fee charged.
Description of Work: I brought in a Wedgwood plate that had broken in two. Hess Restorations glued the two pieces together. .

+ 1 moreThey are excellent. He is very clever at repairing things. Everything has been working perfectly. You cannot expect anything to be done over night, you must be patient.
Description of Work: I had a very expensive chandelier that was cracked on the base. We thought we were going to have to junk it, and they repaired the glass. The crack is nearly invisisble. They dyed the glue to match the glass. They have also fixed a pier mirror for me. The base had come apart from the mirror and it had come off of the base. They rebuilt the entire brass components of the mirror.
