Handy House Cleaning

I was misled thinking the cleaner would be a professional cleaning person. Only cleaned for 45 minutes and left for another appointment. The company still charge me $50.

Cleaner very sweet but barely adequate. I’m sure they have lots of other people available. What really annoyed me was that I asked for a woman to clean and they said they couldn’t guarantee that and it depended on who bid for job. So between that and so-do cleaning, I’m looking elsewhere.

Initially scheduled for a Saturday morning at 10am, and received txt message 58 minutes before scheduled arrival time canceling due to extenuating circumstances. Rescheduled the following Thursday for 10am. Received a message at 8:46am that my address and phone number was incorrect. Both of which were not true. When I tried to reach the person who was scheduled to do the cleaning, specifically asking her if she can give me a call and I provided the number that they already had. She said that she would not call and told me to cancel my appointment. Very disappointing experience.

When she arrived she started in the basement and was down there for at least 4 hours. The biggest issue for us was after they spoke to me for the payment info, they would only correspond by e-mail after refusal to call us back.

They r major scammers. They changed me 2 times but never came. They would not refund. You cannot talk to customer service. U can only e-mail. They do not respond to your comments They should be closed down. I have stopped my charges.

Horrible. They over charge me, they told me one price and they charge me more. They said they were gonna send 2 professional but they only sent 1. They said it would take 5 hours to do the job and after 10 hours the job was not completed. I cannot contact them over the phone because they won't return back my calls.

Did okay in apartment. However, they were careless removing trash. The trash was spilled all over the outside, which required me to cleaning it up.

The young lady in charge kept changing the day (changed 3 times) to come and check out my home and give me a price, very disappointing.

I have been trying to get a invoice for the work to no avail.

She did a very good job on the kitchen, very nice lady. but for the remaining 4 hours of the work was a waste and she even left early that day, as the rest of the house was not cleaned and I had to mop the floor for dust and dirt. She did wipe down the bathroom, the bedroom were untouched and she never even mopped the floor. She was able to clean the ceiling fan but that was it, no other work was done properly upstairs.

Was punctual and polite. Six hours of cleaning when my tenants moved out of my house.

The first time the pro came they did not clean the house. We were contracted for 3 hours and she left after 2 1/2 and the house was still dirty - the sink and stove were left dirty and the floors were swept not washed. The bathrooms were also not cleaned properly. The second time the pro just didn't show up, I waited 45 minutes before contacting Handy. Instead of refunding my money they gave me a credit on my account and $10 credit for being unhappy. I wanted a refund not a credit and also wanted resolution as to what would be done about the sub par work performed the first visit. After several emails I still have not heard back.

The apartment was newly renovated and had dust and debris all over. Jordan, the person who came to do the job, was punctual, personable, and professional! He did a thorough job, and the place looked and smelled wonderful! I am so pleased with the experience and would definitely consider hiring Handy again, especially if Jordan is available!

I found the app to be easy and have used them for a couple years. It is very convenient because I can book last minute and I know someone will be there no matter what. I've had many different cleaners and they have all been great.

I would like more flexibility in cancelling a long term contract.

I thought the app was good. There was a last minute no-show on their end, they gave a $10 credit but I decided not to renew as a result.

Overall it's good but rescheduling is very difficulty. It has to do with the timing and notification. they come after the rescheduling window has closed.

The cleaners are some of the best out there. It would be nice to be able to contact the housecleaner directly as I live in New York and had an issue with them getting past the doorman and could not reach them directly.

It went great. They do a great job, on time, and professional.
