Our experience was excellent from first contact to completion. We spoke with Keri on the phone who responded to our inquiries in record time and provided even more detail than asked for (which was very helpful). He also had all the information for our file ready based on our email exchange so I didn't need to spend too much time during booking on those details. On the day of service, Peter arrived on time (actually early and waited in his car outside) and he couldn't have been any more friendly. He really knew his stuff and enjoyed his job. He was very thorough and patient with all our questions and 3 kids that were running around. I even forgot that he was their to get rid of mice (which I'm terrified of). We never felt judged and he had our trust from the start. We had two other exterminators come out in the last year and the experience was a complete 180. One told us that we didn't even have mice despite the mouse droppings. I'm confident that the issue will be resolved, but if not, I will definitely call Green Earth again. Thanks guys!

Called Green Earth, described problem (moths eating clothes in 2 closets). Made appointment for visit. Specialist visited, observed premises. Estimate arrived by email within a week. Accepted estimate and made appointment for treatment. Received detailed instructions how to prepare for treatment. Called with questions re details and got answers. Sent the contents of the closets to dry cleaner and/or laundry. Was given a window of time to expect specialist; requested an earlier time and was accommodated. Treatment went smoothly. Specialist explained that moths tend not to spread around the house so long as they are "happy and well-fed" where they are, so in order to avoid moth expansion to the rest of the house he set up traps on all 4 floors. A few insects were caught in traps. It's been 2 weeks, cleaned clothes are back in closets, and so far no more problems. However, Green Earth will stay in touch and come back for periodic checks.

I just can't remember all of the details anymore. Sorry, but they are nice people and wanted to do a good job.

It was terrific! The service was great, prices were fair - especially considering that my apartment is quite large - & response time was good. I have nothing but good things to say.

It was fabulous and hard to believe because it was so good. They were able to accommodate for my schedule. They called before they came and explained everything as they went through the house. I was very impressed and I would definitely use their services again in the future.

Allow me first and foremost to state that I was one of those people who thought I could NEVER get bedbugs. After hearing so many horror stories and moreso after Hurricane Sandy caused so many infestations, I never thought "this can happen to me". So if you're reading this after discovering bedbugs and FREAKING OUT, I get it. But you will be pleased to know that picking the right exterminator changed all of that. My husband I were getting bit occasionally and thought they were mosquitos but couldn't explain why they were getting into the house (especially in the winter) and why the bites would become so irritated. We were only getting bit every once in a while (I got 3 bites and my husband got 4 bites over a 2 week period) and just didn't make the connection. After spending so much time analyzing the bites, I went online and decided to research bedbugs (thinking it would be the FURTHEST thing it could be). Worst thing I could've done (or maybe the best since it pushed me to check) because when I arrived home I peeled off the covers and studied every inch of my mattress...especially the creases/corners. Nothing. Two days later, I was bit again under my arm and thought, "maybe it's a spider?" Just in case, I checked the mattress again WITH my husband...every inch of the mattress and again, nothing. So in my mind, I thought THANK GOD. Turns out my husband was bit again an additional two times (he only had two bites before I checked the mattress twice) and we decided to review the mattress again in parts together. There it was...a tiny little sucker. At this point, I ran away screaming and my husband had the task of checking the entire mattress by himself because I refused to continue searching. As far as I was concerned, ONE was equal to ONE THOUSAND and I needed the problem rectified IMMEDIATELY. I pulled up Angie's list and began my search. I called about 6 exterminators and because I called immediately after we detected one bedbug, it was late in the evening and only one exterminator picked up. He quoted me a price and while I was thankful that he took my call, I didn't feel as though he was knowledgeable on the questions I had or maybe didn't want to answer my questions. The following day I spoke to Josh from Green Earth and it was a wrap. He quoted me only AFTER a very lengthy conversation where he answered ALL of my questions. He proceeded to explain to me the process by which I would be serviced. He also e-mailed me a price quote, a copy of all the pesticides he would be using and a list of "to do's" to prepare for the treatment. I felt fully prepared. When I wasn't able to schedule the service for a weekend, Josh did his best to accommodate my schedule and ensured there would be a follow up visit. We decided to go with the dog to detect any live bugs and met "Henry" (no, he's really part of the staff) and Michael his handler to confirm we needed to move forward with the treatment. We just completed our first treatment and I have to say that I slept like a baby for the first time in over 2 weeks. It was horrible but I am pleased that Green Earth came to the rescue. There is a reason why this company has so many positive reviews and it all starts with the professionalism displayed. Peter was the gentleman who reported at 8 am (ON THE DOT) and was uber friendly and informative. I was relieved to know that he didn't see any live bugs and the situation was caught in time. The dog may have detected eggs from that one bug (they are asexual and do not need another to drop eggs) so it could have been a really bad situation if we didn't react quickly. We are scheduled to have a follow up next Monday. Green Earth is great...no hesitation to use them again. However, please note...the preparations for this treatment is a TOTAL KILLJOY. You may think that it is a small job or something that can be done quickly but IT IS NOT! You also have to live out of bags for a week because they come back for the follow up and all areas need to remain as it was the first treatment. We had to clear our closets/dressers, clean all of our clothes and basically leave our rooms bare to have the full effect. Other than the prep, the rest was easy. I CAN SLEEP NOW! If you are FREAKING OUT right now because you never thought this could happen to you, your first step is to make the call.

Use these guys, they provide good service.

Mainly they put down glue traps all over the house, easily accessed by our two cats. We have had minor bug problems, mostly in the basement and garden floor apartment, but we could have done the glue-strip treatment ourselves! And our cats would have thanked us for kitty-proof placement. The so-so results could have been due to a communication failure, as I'm not sure if the resident who made the appointment, and who was present for the treatment, made it clear that there were two small cats present, or what the focus area should have been (basement and garden floor). I was not present for the treatment, nor did I personally speak to anyone at Green Earth. I just pay the bills!

Very good service. The worker was friendly, able and willing to explain what he was doing, and very thorough. Everything went well and within a couple of weeks my home was mice free. I highly recommend this company.

They were really knowledgable and helpful in understanding the situation. They were very professional.

They charged me $125 just to come to the house even though other exterminators do it for free. Then they gave me an estimate for the work that seemed high. I decided not to use them and they refunded my evaluation fee. I would recommend using someone that doesn't charge for evaluating.

We were being bitten. They had dogs come in and the dogs found that there were bed bugs in both our home and in our offices which are in the same building although, in each apartment, they were only in one area. They gave us an option of either a chemical treatment which would have had to be repeated over the course of a few weeks and the heat treatment which, although much more expensive, would be immediately effective. We decided on the heat treatment because we were unable to use our offices as long as we had a problem. Even though there were two apartments they reduced their rate to some extent as if it were simply one apartment. They were very responsive to our need to have the treatment done immediately and switched things around so that we could do it sooner rather than later. The heat treatment occurred and the dogs no longer found evidence of bed bugs. The heat did cause a minor crack in a wall (because of previous moisture in the wal)l but they were very quick in coming to look at the crack and offered to compensate us to some extent for the work we would have to do on the wall. The only criticism I have is that they recommended taking certain things out of the apartment when you do the heat treatment (tapes, corked wine bottles, etc.) but what they had not warned us about is that after the treatment is over you have to return the things that you had taken out of the apartment. There is the possibility that those things were contaminated. For instance, we had tapes next to the bed that was infected. When we asked them what to do to make sure that those things would not recontaminate the apartment, they recommended that we take those things for a special proceedure that costs quite a bit of money. It seems to me that they should have explained this before hand ,since it is part of the cost of the proceedure. This is the only criticism that I have. Other than that, they were very efficient, responsive and knowledgeable.

Although timing ultimately didn't work out for us, so we did not end up using Green Earth for our extermination, , I felt the need to review them for their advice and professionalism. Josh, Carey, and co. helped educate me on my problem and potential solutions. They were prompt and responsive throughout. Again, although they did not end up performing my extermination, they were a valuable, professional resource even after I told them I had to choose another company for scheduling reasons. For that, they get high marks.

They're terrific. I would definitely use them again. They were environmentally conscious and did excellent work and they were also punctual, knowledgeable, neat and priced reasonably.

They are the only people I would use and I plan on calling them again soon.
