Description of Work: I had two cleaning women come to my home to clean a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apt. They were scheduled for 3 hours which was a total of 6 hours. Did not finish and lied and said they did, all but a few small details. After I checked all the rooms I saw that they didn't even go in one of the bathrooms and the rest of the house was half done. They didn't even clean the stone countertop. I told the ladies I was very unsatisfied and they told me it was impossible to clean an already pre-cleaned home in six hours. I always keep my house basically clean and neat anyway except for the dusting, vacuuming and mopping. I had even cleaned two of the three bathrooms myself the day before because we had some guests over for a wine tasting the night before. There were no dishes to be washed nor were there any beds to be maids. It was basic and 2 people could not clean a small living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms between them in a total of 6 hours? I could have cleaned my entire house.

 + 0 moreThe cleaning woman was very experienced and organized. There was absolutely no explaining to do. She was very quiet and efficient as well. She cleaned the wood floors and then polished them in about two hours-three bedrooms, hall, living room. Then I had her do the porch furniture: two tables, four chairs, and a chaise. I didn't recognize them at first because they gleamed when she was done.
Description of Work: The house cleaner was so efficient and professional I had trouble finding extra tasks for her to use up the alloted time! She cleaned and then polished all the wood floors in my apartment. Then she cleaned all my porch furniture.

Description of Work: Jolanda arrived on time! She cleaned our apartment top to bottom with little or no guidance. I don't think I have ever seen anyone more thorough than Jolanda. Ilona the owner is so pleasant to talk with on the phone!

 + -1 moreGrace from European Maids arrived early, and got straight to work on our upstairs bathrooms. Her work was very thorough, and she was pleasant and great to deal with. As I'd hoped, she paid attention to details, like dusting the lighting fixtures and cleaning the mirror over our fireplace mantel (which extends to the 11 ft ceiling). She even dusted the small chandelier in our dining area. We will be using her on a weekly basis in the future.
Description of Work: Four hour cleaning session of my home, including two full baths, two bedrooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen.

Almost all the cleaners are Polish and there are occasional communication (language) problems; however, they are consistently honest, hard working, on time, pleasant and reliable. The owner is responsive to telephone calls and very fair. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Weekly housecleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, etc, plus additional more thorough cleaning when required. Even ironing and laundry on occasion. Cost is per hour.

 + -1 moreThe woman who came to clean was terrific. She did a great job, was right on time, extremely pleasant, and hard working. The only difficulty was that she was not fluent in English, and we had a little bit of a communication problem. She didn't seem to understand what I was saying. I certainly don't want to be critical of her because her work was impeccable.
Description of Work: They cleaned a studio apartment in Manhattan that had been unoccupied for a couple of years. It was sort of grimy and it needed to be cleaned for move-in purposes. It was $20/hour.

 + -1 moreI GOT THIS COMPANY'S NAME FROM A FRIEND AND HAVE BEEN USING THIS HOUSEKEEPER FOR SIX MONTHS. IT IS A SMALL COMPANY. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE THERE TO ANSWER THE PHONE OR THEY RETURN THE CALL PROMPTLY. THEY ARE VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND HONEST.
Description of Work: I HAVE A HOUSEKEEPER THAT COMES IN EVERY OTHER WEEK TO DO BASIC HOUSEKEEPING. SHE SWEEPS, SCRUBS, VACUUMS, AND DUSTS.
