George was excellent with everything he did. He came with Alex, who is just as nice. When I first called George from Angie's List, I immediately felt comfortable talking to him. He was polite and pleasant and didn't rush me. Unlike many other contractors I've dealt with, George does not have a bad attitude. He says "thank you," "have a nice weekend" and things like that - very polite. Just from talking to him on the phone, I knew right there that he would be the one I would hire in the end. I checked with DOB and DCA. Of course, George was fine with both of them. Let me get to the point. George came with Alex on Saturday, 3/21/15, for a sub pump/water pump installation in my basement(well). He also fixed the concrete crack on my basement wall by using epoxy sealer. He patched and painted afterwards including tar caulking outside the house. In addition, he took care of a few other things for me such as toilet re-caulking, light fixture replacement, threshold installation(for hallway door). Not only was George quick, efficient, highly-organized and professional, he was also intelligent. One can always tell whether someone is intelligent by the way he does things. Because he is neat, clean and friendly himself, he would only hire assistants who are the same. Therefore, I am not surprised that Alex and the gentleman who came with George on Monday night (to finish up) were both friendly and pleasant. They were very careful. When Alex was here on Saturday, he always cleaned up after everything they did. He was always watching left and right, front and back to make sure he did not scratch anything as he carried the door to the balcony. He was very fast and he smiled from the beginning to the end. Needless to say, the gentleman who came on Monday night was just as careful and clean. My wife and I can't be any happier. George: You have an extremely satisfied customer. Here's to a job well done. You deserve more than just 5 stars.

George and his employees replaced two damaged joists in my basement. From the first contact , through the job itself, to the final cleanup , Elite Tech did a professional job. George returned all my phone calls promptly, and did the work as agreed to with no surprises. His estimate was also very reasonable compared to other contractors. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Overall pleased with the work. Very punctual. I initially had to call twice, but after that very punctual and responsive. Quality of the work was good. Initially suggested venting dryer out in an unusual manner, agreeable to a change with a more labor intensive solution. Execution of said change good. Cleaned up well after job. Debris left in bags at site.

Was excited to read the reviews of this company and as instructed called GEORGE. He called me back and we scheduled a time, however he would randomly call me before that to see if I could "be home" because he was in the vicinity. I could not..lol..we all work during the day, right? He then cancelled our set appt and never followed up. I called him twice since then and still no response. Very disappointed with his level of service and question his rating. So I am now in the process of looking for another provider...not a good experience.

It went well. Large renovations like this are always challenging but George and his crew worked tirelessly on my place. Many times, George himself would be there getting into it and he is just a pleasure to work with. It isn't that there weren't any problems because of course there were. The difference between Elite Tech and anyone else I've worked with is George's complete availability and honesty. The man ALWAYS picks up the phone and always deals honestly with whatever comes up. We had a number of challenges with our kitchen, including the size of the electrical feed line for the induction cook-top and some other things that necessitated changing things after they were completed. George calmly determined the number of days to do the work and charged me his usual daily rate for it. No hemming and hawing about how complicated it was and I never got the sense that he was anything other than completely above-board with me. Also the technical skill of George and some of his workers is really terrific. I had some very difficult tile in our shower stall and for the backsplash of our kitchen sink, to say nothing of an entire (uneven) floor covered in tile and the whole thing just looks flawless. Elite was also very good about making suggestions along the way about some of the smaller details that you never quite think of when you're building a whole new house. You wouldn't necessarily think it, but he has a very good design sense. The only thing to be mindful of is that even though George can do plumbing and electric work, he doesn't do so as a matter of course. He knows some very good tradesmen though and I took all his recommendations and wouldn't change a thing. I worked with him for over a year and I saw him work through some really difficult challenges and delays and two winters...and after all that, I really couldn't recommend him any more highly.

We did a gut renovation of a lovely two-bedroom, two-bathroom on the Upper East Side, and to save money, we hired a series of contractors to take care of different things - one for plumbing, one for electrical work, etc. George and his team were there for skim coating the walls, painting, installing the kitchen cabinets and doors, and various other carpentry work. George and his team did an amazing job! Not only did they provide high-quality professional service at a very reasonable price, but George himself also advised and suggested changes along the way, and noticed when our other contractors were messing things up. His advice saved us tons of time and trouble! Big renovations can be very stressful (especially for a first-time owner) but he put us at our ease with his expertise, and was there for us when we needed him, and then some. He and his team did really amazing work. When there were mistakes (because there will ALWAYS be mistakes, no matter how skilled the contractor), he was happy to come back and fix things. We kept asking him back to do other things that we thought of as the renovation went on - could you make cabinets for us? Could you install the towel bars? And he was always happy to take care of it, and the job was completed well and for a very reasonable price. The next time we do a renovation, we're hiring him to be a general contractor, and putting him in charge of everything.

I never got an estimate since he canceled one appointment and then never showed up to the rescheduled appointment.

The work was great, but the price ($8000) for a half bath for the cellar (not a basement) was pricey. We thought the work would be between $5000-$6000 max because we purchased all the material and because the plumbing and electrical are on the same line. Regarding the work, they get an A rating, regarding the price, they get a C rating.

After emailing business and requesting an appointment for an estimate. The company did not respond via email or telephone.

They did not show up to the scheduled appointment, has not called to follow up regarding this missed appointment. Did not call us to cancel it or reschedule.

George, Dennis and Alex are absolutely the best team of providers with which I have had the pleasure of working. My unfinished basement was in tremendously poor condition as a result of post-Sandy water infiltration of which I was unaware until we moved out years of accumulated clutter. They were very creative and sought many cost-saving measures to handle this unforeseen leaky basement issue that was not part of the original workplan. My powder blue-tiled bathroom was in need of a complete update and overhaul. George provided invaluable advice on fixtures and suggestions for every facet of the re-model including color selections and options for accessories to complement the layout in both areas. He even went shopping with me or picked up materials he knew I'd need. Since our contract called for me to provide supplies and fixtures (excluding specified materials provided by the contractor) this was extremely desirable and welcomed help. Dennis and Alex showed up early, worked efficiently and with little disruption. They were careful with clean up and construction materials removal and were overwhelmingly respectful, often going beyond the scope of agreed upon work to develop the finished product. George provided an assessment and estimate for complete renovation of my two kitchens. I expect to start this job in a couple of months.

George and his team were great. From the very beginning, doing reviews and estimates, we received attention and detailed explanations we were looking for. As the work progressed, George worked with us to make sure that everything come perfectly, including making changes when unexpected events happened or we needed to change the design a bit. The estimate came very close to the actual charges, and it took exactly as long as predicted! It was a pleasure to work with them.

George and his crew were great! I needed to get my second floor apartment ready for the new tenants. They worked very well and left the apartment clean. While they were working I mentioned I would be contacting them soon to install a sink in the basement (I thought they wouldn't be able to start until they finished upstairs), George said he could work on it that very day. We hopped on his truck and headed to the nearest home depot, got the sink and by the end of the day it was up and running. He was very fair and very professional. Will definitely be contacting them again for future projects.

These guys were terrific! They were punctual, professional, and paid attention to detail. And they were very good about cleaning up after themselves! The job took longer than expected because the pantry walls were in such bad shape, and they did it the more difficult way in order to save me as much space as possible while leveling out the walls. They make sure the work is done right, and they stand behind it. I had a little surface cracking issue caused by the intense humidity these last few days, and they came right back and fixed it up in no time flat. This was my first experience dealing with a contractor, and I couldn't be happier. I hope the rest of the work being done in my kitchen/pantry goes as well!

Very responsive. Called Elite about the project and though George was on another job he scheduled to come by the following day after work. In discussing the project George had many solid suggestions that really enabled us to achieve our goals with the renovation. The price quote was very reasonable and I immediately felt at ease with the contractor. The job started about a week or so later and what a delightful and hassle free experience it was. The workers showed up always on time and worked diligently throughout the day. They were very nice, professional, and polite. Always willing and able to address any questions or concerns we had and able to offer great suggestions. The job progressed very well and work was done according to plan. George even did some additional improvements at no additional cost as he takes great pride in his work and vies for doing the best job possible. They went above and beyond the call of duty and did a great job! We can't believe how much more beautiful, functional, and comfortable our basement is now that George restored it. Better than it ever was and beyond our wildest expectations. Our basement is very large with several rooms (multi-use, utility, boiler, bathroom, closets). Well, how did it go? I never heard from George. When I called him back quite some time later, he acted as if he he did not remember coming to my apartment. He then said that does not really do coops. I felt that George did not really want to do a small job and probably got busy and so he brushed off my job. I don't know why these people hold themselves out to be exceptional but then act no different from the average dead beet contractor and think they can just explain things away with a response. He is not the first from Angie's list to not return calls, what kind of service is that.

Overall wonderful job. Owner George and staff were always on time, professional and fair. Worked from April 4th to April 25th 2014.

The joints are coming apart the floors are bubbling up. I have to call in another contractor and have everything redone.I noticed it first downstairs, then up. He did not level the floor, they just stuck stuff on top of the old floor. He did it all wrong. So now we have to rip it up and do it again.

I recently purchased my new home and had a different contracting company do a complete renovation and remodeling. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. The last straw was finding out that the previous company had failed to attach and secure the toilet in my master bath. The leak was dripping down onto the ceiling of my brand new kitchen. Thankfully I discovered George on Angie's list and had him come take a look at it. He responded to my phone call immediately and came to my house the same day, where he was able to diagnose the problem. He returned to start work 2 days later (as promised) and was able to have the entire job completed within 3 days! He always showed up on time (or early), was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, worked quickly, cleaned up after himself, and most importantly...he takes pride in his work. I have a new contractor for all my needs and fully recommend George to anyone looking.

GEORGE KEPT IN CONSTANT COMMUNICATION WAS PUNCTUAL AND HIS SOLE PURPOSE IS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS DONE THE WAY YOU WANT TO THE SMALLEST DETAIL. HIS WORKERS ARE JUST A POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL AS HE IS.

On time, responsive and did good work for a reasonable price.

I called them and spoke with the provider on the phone. I was told he was very busy. He has advertised free estimates on Angie's List, and when I asked about it, he said it was only free if I was going to use him. He said it would be $350 for the estimate if I did not end up using him.

He was very honest, organized, didn't take any shortcuts, totally licensed and insured. he found ways to save me money. He was trusted in my home with all of my valuable belongings. If he gave me a suggestion on the job and I didn't agree he would keep me satisfied with the work I wanted him to do. He was very professional, punctual, and did a fantastic job.

My first impression with Elite Tech USA was excellent. I liked George who came out, he’s a nice fellow, easy to get along with. He listened to you when you tell him what you want. He doesn’t try to change your mind. He gives you good ideas but he is very good at intuiting what you want. I’ve used them a lot, of late, mostly him. After the flood we used another guy, it’s not that he was bad, but he did the initial clean out of the basement, he reinstalled the furnace, things like that, did some of the initial electric work, but he was very expensive so I was looking for somebody who was a little more cost effective. So when we went to the second stage, actually we rebuilt the basement to a different plan than it had previously been because it was really cut up and we wanted to make it more spacious, we were looking for somebody who was a little more reasonable in that area because the first company gave us a price that was a little high. We were looking for somebody who wasn’t cheap but somebody in the middle somewhere. That’s how I ended up with Elite Tech.

Seemed like a nice guy. The apartment had well below the wall sq footage on the coupon but Elite Tech disagrees and wants 3x as much for the job. Not sure why I have the coupon then?
