These guys are great; John and I reviewed the overall plan and approach for our video/networking needs and worked up a phased plan. Sean and Ivan came to my home to survey what had to be done prior to installation. They ordered all of the equipment and were fast, courteous and neat. These guys know what they are doing. Additionally, these guys are very responsive and take responsibility for the project. Specifically user error (on our part) created an issue that caused our system to stop working. These guys were here the next day to get our systems up and running. We are not done with our audio/video needs and DTV Installations will be completing what they started. We recommend them without hesitation.

I first want to thank Angies List for helping me find DTV Installations. I have been bad results with a previous contractor who was referred by friends - its great to have access to this list to find great deals by reputable service providers that care about their reputation and provide a quality job. As soon as I purchased the TV mounting with hidden wires deal through Angie's List - DTV Installations contacted me to set up the installation. I explained that I needed to purchase a TV first. They indicated they could assist as they are authorized Samsung Dealers. I explained I still needed do to my research - and they completely understood and there was no pressure. After completing my research I went with a Samsung - I contacted DTV and they were able to provide a great price with free delivery. I also inquired about home theater systems. I did research again and contacted DTV - they were able to secure the system I wanted and also brought it for install with free delivery. At the time of install - they were on time - they installed all the items. They explained how to use all the products and called Sonos to figure out how to get an annoying TV message off my screen about using an external speaker. They programmed everything for me on my universal remote and I am good to go. I plan to use them again to help hide the cable box and DVD player in a closet. I highly recommend them and they a great job.

Appalling work. No guarantee as promised before work began and let handyman afix tv wall monitor at odd angle that u cant see from bed while installer wasted time puttin money in meter. Terrible. Dont use unless u dont care about your walls being damaged and poorly placed mounts with unmatching plastic covers. Unprofessional. Makes u pay cash so u have no recourse. Cheap stationary wall mount sold to us. FYI in response to DTV's rebuttal. That was not the exact date of service but the completed by date...

I worked with Lysyy on the phone and Sean and Ivan came to my home to perform the work. A photo was texted in advance in order that the job be assessed. I was told to have paint available in the event a touch up may be needed. Sean and Ivan were very professional and extremely knowledgable. They got the job done speedily and with precision. We are very pleased with the outcome and recommend them without hesitation. They also do kitchen remodeling and seemed knowledgable in that field also.

John and Sean war very helpful and professional albeit relatively expensive.

Responsive, on-time, clean, detail oriented. I've used DTV before, and I will certainly use them again. Their work is meticulous and clean -- they make sure everything is in working order, and explain what they are doing as they are doing it.

When others told me it couldn't be done, DTV said yes -- and delivered. They were responsive and professional. Great two man team. I highly recommend them.

Installed our flat screen TV and surround sound system. Great job. Highly recommend and would use again.

Installed complete audio video and phone system.

It was fine. They got the t.v. mounted and the deal only includes one cord, maybe I didn't read what was included on the deal. It looks like the cord from the t.v to the cable box and we also need a cord for the dvd player so they charge me 50$ for that. The cord was only like 3 ft. and it was a pretty standard job but it kinda went up being more. He did a good job and he cleaned up. It was a t.v. attached to the wall with a dvd player. I like the dvd player to be further away like to put it on my closet but the cord was only 3 ft. and they said that it could cost me more.

They did a fantastic job. I had recently had my living room redone and they were very careful about minimizing the amount of cutting needed to hide wires, cables, etc. They explained everything to me in detail and even went to the store to pick up additional equipment that I needed. I'm not a very technical person to begin with so John spent a considerable amount of time explaining how all the systems worked, how the universal remotes worked and how each component worked within the overall system (both for my living room and den installs). His crew was very helpful, clean, and they did a great job! As I have some more work to be done in the future, I will absolutely be calling on them again and definitely will be referring him and his company any chance I get. Great job John, thanks!

Amazing - part 2! They did such a great job the first time, had them back for additional services. Professional, honest, and responsive.

Fast and simple......these guys have done this many times. Exceptionally flexible with scheduling. I had to change a number of times to the point where I was embarrassed to call and change again, but they were always patient and accommodating.

The two technicians were very professional and installed my TV to wall with no problem. They took the time to show us where the TV would hang and kept everything tidy. They were on time and called before they were coming and gave me traffic updates as they were stuck in traffic. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with home theater needs.

Steve came to give us an estimate and scheduled the work the following week. We discussed several options for our tv's and component choices and he was able to work with us and our budget. We ended up just mounting 1 tv. Steve was very knowledgeable and walked me through how to use the complicated univeral remote. He also cleaned up nicely after the installation. We had one small issue with a component (our issue) and Steve came back the next day to walk us through it and help correct our error.

I write this letter in recommendation for DTV Installations as a tech / installer... I had the pleasure of working with Sean and John on the installations in multiple locations in public schools throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, I can recommend them highly and without reservation. Throughout the course of the installations, their team was very professional. They were accurate in the initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project. They was absolutely clear in their record keeping and time log. They managed the multiple projects very very well. Our jobs were done with care and precision. They are gifted technicians and the custom work they designed and executed are lovely. In addition, they are extremely clean and tidy in the workplace. The technicians never left the work-site in disarray. They vacuumed all dust daily. John and Sean took special care to prevent any of the job dust from trailing throughout the schools. There was no complexity in working with this company. I have worked with many installers in the past, but will never look for another company again as long as they continue to work with me.

They were very professional and punctual. They called the day before my appointment to try and get an idea of what was needed for the job. They also called an hour before the appointment to let me know exactly when they would be coming. They were very efficient and did a good job. They do they're best to do the job as quickly as possible (saves money for the customer) and in as few visits as possible.

It went really well - he knew what he was doing, explained everything to me clearly and worked quickly to do the job and do it right. No complaints at all.

Two young guys arrived exactly on time and quickly unpacked my new TV and hung it up. They were amazingly quick and measured carefully so the TV would hang exactly in the center of the wall. I was very impressed at hiw quick it was. About an hour.

John chose out excellent components that were in our price range, and he worked with us on the scope of the estimate to keep the project in budget. The system is working great. He struck me as an honest guy who does good work and sees the big picture about treating customers right so that he gets good reviews and repeat business and referral business.

The people who came into the house were very professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. Tv was mounted perfectly and have not had any problems with it.

This is the second time I have used DTV. They are professional and do quality work. So nice to do business with a company that follows thru and does the job the way they said they would. Plan on using them again very soon!!
