+ -1 moreThey are reliable and they do a good job. They're a smaller company, nice and personable. I've used them for a while now, and though they charge upper east side prices, they're always willing to come back and fix any problems.

+ -1 moreVery badly. See above. I am reluctant to share my review as service took place about 15 years ago and I don't know the present management. .
Description of Work: The provider cleaned all the upholstered furniture in my apartment.. The sofa was 4 years old at the time and had cost about $6000 to have made. The fabric was ruined by the cleaning process. After the provider denied any wrong doing or compensation we took the provider to Small Claims Court where the the provider offered $1500 compensation. We rejected that offer as insufficient to to near cover cost of new fabric and re-upholstery. The Civil Court Arbitrator denied us any compensation. I have no hard evidence but it felt to me like the arbitrator had been paid off. I have learned recently that the Brooklyn Delmont company was sold to the company now on Lexington Ave. I spoke to the man in Brooklyn, who told me of this sale, and I noted that his is the same name I have on the letter denying wrongdoing in 1998. I have no experience with the current company on Lexington Ave. but would never use the Brooklyn company of the same name based on my terrible experience and would not choose the Lexington Ave. company as I don't really know the connection.. s The provided denied any wrong doing. Description of Work: We had our sectional sofa and 4 upholstered chairs steam cleaned. They did all the removable cushions top and bottom on the sofa and chairs. When there was some small stain they tried to get rid of it and if they couldn't they told us about it. Punctual, professional. Can't really compare prices as I didn't price a lot of other companies.

+ -1 moreThey showed up right on time, did the job quickly and neatly and actually charged less than the phone quote. The only problem is that none of the stains came out of the sofas. That was a disappointment. Overall the sofas look better than they did before, but any stains that were there are still there.

+ 0 moreRoss and his helper made the sofa and carpet look like new. They were punctual, fast, efficient, thorough and polite. They also moved everything themselves etc. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: I called Delmont Carpet/Upholstery cleaning service and they were able to come to my apartment the very next day to professionally clean my large sofa and rug. For a 12' x 9' (I think) area rug and large sofa, it was $345. They also moved everything themselves, etc. They were great.

+ -1 moreThey removed and took out the blades to clean. Four days later, they returned and reinstalled. The track is not replaceable -- I would have to buy a whole new blind. However, they did work on it, and it's operating better than before.

+ -1 moreI was pleased with Delmont from first phone call to final drop off of my rugs. There was always someone on the other end of the phone and they were always able to answer my questions. I received honest estimates, they came when they told me they would, and (this is true) I received my service with a smile. Of course, the important thing is that my rugs look great! The price, while not inexpensive, was fair.
Description of Work: I had three area rugs cleaned. They were of varying sizes, materials and degrees of dirtiness.

+ 0 moreThey use steam extraction, so no toxic cleaning chemicals are used, just water. I previously hired another cleaner who did a lousy job and wasn't sure some stains in my beige carpet (blue cake icing- don't ask) would even come out after the first guy tried and failed. The carpet looked new after Ross finished. He managed to also remove stains I thought were permanent on my dining room chairs and cleaned a large area rug in my kid's room. They were professional and experienced. A little more expensive than the first creep I hired but very worth it. Ross is one of the owners which I also liked. He came with an assistant so the job was finished quickly.
