DANIELS CUSTOM UPHOLSTERY

I contacted Mr. Daniels and he promised to come and look at the chairs for an estimate when he was next on the West side. He did not show, but did call and reschedule a week later. He was very nice and responsive in person, and promised to call me with an estimate the next day. It is now 4 weeks later. No estimate. I have called several times and was told by Mrs. Daniels two times that an estimate would come next week(it never did), one time I was told they were too busy to get back to me now, and the 4th time I was told she would pass the message along. I never heard back.

This is a ''mom and pop'' company. Madge, (Mrs Daniels) answered the phone and accompanied her husband, Mr. Daniels for the pickup and delivery. They were prompt and on time. As promised, the job took about 6 weeks. They were polite and helpful. My only (minor) criticism was their phone protocol. They often left the answering machine on rather than answer all phone calls directly. We sometimes played ''telephone tag'' to get in touch.

I THOUGHT THEY DID VERY GOOD WORK. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL AND CONSIDERATE WITH THE CHAIRS. THE CHAIRS ARE STILL IN VERY FINE CONDITION. I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS COMPANY FROM A NEIGHBOR.
