The office I’ve worked in for several years now in Midtown moved locations and got completely built out from scratch and when I asked who the contractor was, they said Chartered General Contractors. If I had to describe the new office, it would be an industrial style with functional workspaces in the best way possible, it just has a whole new vibe and look to it, while making it easier for us to have comfortable yet effective meetings and schedules. My favorite space would definitely be the lounge area where you can take a break, while being connected to your device if a quick meeting or task needs to be tackled. Great job on the craftmanship and layout design, Chartered GC!

Our East Village 3-story apartment was in need of a full-renovation for kitchen, living area, bedrooms and roof area and Chartered General Contractors did an outstanding job, very detail oriented and quick to pick up on our ideas and concerns. They did beautiful marble tile accents in the bathroom and kitchen for them to look brighter and more open. The 4-bed bedroom layout turned out perfectly since a lot of natural light comes in through the windows but couldn't figure out the best way for it to still feel spacious enough, but their design team gave insightful ideas and were very professional from the beginning. I'm very happy with the results and would definitely work with them again for future projects.

My wife and I moved in Queens a while ago and found Chartered General Contractors online while looking for contractors in the NY area and we had such an amazing experience from them, they did an amazing job renovating our full 1-bedroom 1-bathroom apartment. The living area felt dark and small and the kitchen and bathroom had an outdated design, they just didn't match the rest of the apartment layout. Not only did they came with a detailed proposal and project, but provided insightful ideas throughout the whole process. Their building and design team were knowledgeable and efficient from the start and answered all of our questions to get the renovation done in time. We were very satisfied with the results, specially with the diner and living area, and the bedroom, which now feels more spacious and modern. We would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Queens and NY area who are looking for an experienced and professional contractor.

I was unsure about which general contractor to hire for my entire home since I had just bought it and was my first major renovation project, so when they recommended me General Chartered Contractors I was eager to ask them as much as possible regarding my vision, my concerns and overall technical questions before going through the project and wow, not only did they not let me down, but exceeded my expectations in the best way possible. First thing was their insightful crew that came over and explained to me each and every detail about the possibilities of what I had in mind, and then when they actually began the remodeling, they made sure that me and my family were comfortable and on the loop at all times. I rarely write reviews but these guys truly went above and beyond for me and for that I am extremely grateful. I had stupidly ordered my kitchen appliances without even considering the size of my kitchen door. I only realized after it arrived that it would not fit meaning I could neither bring my old appliances out or my new appliances in. I called up David to see if there was any way he could help us find a solution. After a day of brainstorming, he brought in additional guys to help disassemble and reassemble the appliances in order to accommodate for my situation. Creative problem solving at its best!!

Had the team at Chartered help fully rebuild an old fixer upper I bought in Bayside. Their design team showed me a ton of different concepts before I decided on the something. Really appreciated how patient they were with me throughout the entire process. Ended up finishing ahead of schedule and looked even better in person than it did in the renderings. Excellent experience.
