+ -1 moreJennifer is great! She redesigned a bedroom that is absolutely beautiful. She took my vision and created an environment that was more than I could have imagined, it is not only beautiful, but bright (even though there are no windows in this room) and calming. She also recommended a great contractor for the job, and stayed within the budget I gave her. I would recommend CAVdesign to others because of the high quality work provided, her ability to keep the project on schedule and the recommendations she made.
Description of Work: I needed to have a bedroom renovated, it was dark, cluttered and not enough storage space.

+ -1 moreI couldn't recommend Jen and CAVdesign more highly. She is easy to work with, creates beautiful spaces, and really puts her clients first. When we are ready to tackle another project, we'll definitely be calling her again!
Description of Work: We moved into a new apartment three times the size of our old one, and we had no idea what to do! Even more challenging, my husband and I have really different design preferences, and we didn't know how to combine our different tastes. CAVdesign saved the day and helped us to create a space that feels warm and inviting, a place we are proud to call our home, a place we both feel represents us and our tastes. Jennifer was extremely patient, flexible with times to meet, and really kept our budget in mind. She also handled all the little things, from getting a handyman to hang hooks to dealing with the curtains, so all we had to do was say if we liked something or not (her 3-d renderings are incredibly helpful for those of us who can't visualize how something might fit into a space), and then magically she would make it happen. She even custom-designed furniture for us, creating a lovely bedroom set that is truly one-of-a-kind and fits perfectly into our space!

Description of Work: We used the One Day design solution to get ideas for our living room/foyer area. Jennifer had a lot of good ideas just from "eyeballing" the space. We then discussed our style and the use of the area. She quickly sent us our pdf with detailed drawings/suggestions/where to buy various pieces. When we had our phone followup a month later, she sent another drawing based on our discussion. We would use CAV Design again.

+ 2 moreEvery architect we interviewed wasn't familiar with our type of space and didn't have ideas that were appropriate for what we were looking for. We knew, after our interview with Jen, that she was familiar with our type of space and would be able to help design it so it was as useful to us as possible, providing more counter space as well as storage. She has been mindful of our wants and consistently explains what will, or will not work, as well as why she is suggesting certain things. She is handling my consistent questions and needs well without getting aggravated or impatient. Included in the scope of work that she provides is finding contractors and soliciting bids, overseeingconstruction and helping with the random problems that will arise. She is the only one, after interviewing over 6 architects, that we are confident will be able to provide what we need.
Description of Work: We have loved working with Jennifer Levy of CAV Design. Although our project has not yet been finished, she has been providing us with the exact service that we were hoping for. We live in a small Brooklyn apartment and we looking for someone to help redesign our 6 ft. wide galley kitchen. We need additional counter space, a redesign of the locations of the appliances to provide more efficient work spaces as well as the most efficient use of space for storage.
