I can't say enough about the service, responsiveness, punctuality I received from the business. The two gentlemen that performed the service were just that: gentlemen. Yes it was pricey but the outcome was just blood gorgeous!

I used BLINDWASH several years ago and was thrilled with the way their business is set up. They take down your blinds, clean them ultrasonically in their truck and a couple of hours later, they come back and hang them up. Easy peasy and painless. From the moment I called to schedule a visit, they were quick to respond and amazingly pro-active in providing a Certificate of Insurance so many buildings require. The scheduling was quick, the gentleman who showed up was punctual, professional and knowledgeable and came back with squeaky clean blinds, strings and hardware to boot. I had a great experience with them once before but never take these things for granted; people change, the business' attention to customer service may suffer but not in this case. BLINDWASH is consistently TOPS in every respect and I am glad to have them as a go to resource. Worth every penny not to have to tackle a thankless, time consuming work that can never look as good when you do it vs. what they've accomplished in a snap. Highly recommend!!!

They were on time, courteous, and efficient; Blind Wish did a great job on all levels. Greg was a wonderful worker- polite and friendly, everything was wonderful.

They were punctual , profesional and the blinds are very clean. They took the blinds to a truck and 1.5 hours later they were done. No messy house, and no need to send the blinds to the factory for cleaning.

The company was wonderful to deal with in all respects. We had no problem scheduling the work, their cost estimate was accurate and the work was excellent and done very quickly. In addition, Evan was a pleasure to deal with -- he was nice, efficient, helpful and mindful of the importance of being neat.

They did a very good job. They were very responsive and the work was done while I was waiting. It was all done within a few hours. There were no problems. I would use them again in the future.

A fantastic experience, really makes me wish I'd gotten around to cleaning my blinds before. Contact was prompt and professional, called me when he was a few blocks away to find out where he should park (my building is a stickler about contractors using the service entrance). He got all the blinds down fairly quickly and painlessly, then took them out to his van where they get cleaned in some kind of ultrasonic machine. Then he brought the blinds back about 3 hours later and hung them back up. I barely recognized them, they were so many shades lighter. They really look amazing. And nothing got broken or damaged, and he was careful to not damage anything in the apartment. It's not the cheapest of the cheap, but considering how long it would have taken to scrub all those by hand (not to mention the mess and all the chemicals I'd have had to use), totally worth it. Would definitely use them again, and this time not wait so long to get the blinds cleaned!

The cleaners were professional and arrived on time. They removed my Hunter Davis wooden blinds, took them out to their van and cleaned them by hand, and used Pledge polish wipes to polish the cleaned blinds. They then reinstalled all of the blinds and wiped the headboard on each window. They were careful and didn't disturb anything while they were removing and reinstalling the blinds. They seem to have done a careful thorough job. Wooden blinds have to be done by hand, so I guess that's why it was so pricy. It took two people about 2.5 - 3 hours to do 10 blinds. Although one person was in the van for the first hour. Call it 5 man hours of work. So it came out to about $100/hr. I think they may be more affordable if you have them clean blinds made of different materials. If I had metal or plastic blinds I would definitely use this service.

The blinds are clean but wrinkled. I thought they would hang out in a couple of weeks, but they haven't.

They were also scheduled to clean two honeycomb shades. When they got them out to the truck, they realized they were blackout shades, and weren't able to do them--they would have disintegrated in the cleaning solution. We were grateful they caught the potential problem.

Evan of Blindwash arrived earlier than the scheduled appointment which was great. He called to see if the earlier timed worked for me. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely professional. He estimated the time it would take to complete the job and was very accurate. He explained what I could expect in terms of any spots or issues with the blinds (these were very old ) but that he could definitely get them clean and looking good again. He performed this job well beyond any expectations that I may have had. I would definitely recommend him to for future jobs.

Arrived on time. Finished is less time than expected. I will use them again.

Provider was prompt and pleasant, gave good advice about what was needed, and was thoughtful about keeping dust away from a bedridden patient. It wasn't an easy job because one of the blinds was difficult to reach, behind furniture and drapes, but the whole operation was accomplished in the space of a couple of hours, just as the company advertises.

They offered to meet me half way and clean blinds! Ended up buying new.

Found two faux blinds pieces chipped off, these are $800.00 blinds so I am not impressed with care taken by company.

Evan, the Blindwash employee arrived and took down my woefully neglected wood blinds. He took them downstairs to the company's truck where they were cleaned and one set was restrung. He returned an hour later to reinstall my now like-new window coverings. I am completely satisfied with the job this company did for me and would hire them again.

They remove the blinds and clean the blinds in their truck. I was very pleased with their service.

.They came in and within minutes they had the designated blinds down from the windows and out to the truck, which was parked right outside my house. He volunteered to show me the cleaning process when asked. I went into the truck and he explained the process. When the windows came back into the house (about 45 minutes later) they were completely clean. They had not been cleaned in years and were perfect. They were reinstalled in moments. I was completely satisfied with their work and would most certainly use them again.

I recently had a need to get the blinds in my Brooklyn apartment cleaned. It's an older apartment with huge windows in the bedroom, living room and kitchen. My dilemma was that I was leaving for vacation and would have my parents arriving for a visit immediately upon my return. I needed immediate service so I looked on Angie's list. There I found Blindwash.com that had many positive reviews. I called on Friday and spoke with Sharin about scheduling something on short notice. Although Sharin did not have other jobs scheduled for my area for my required date, she went out of her way to accommodate my request. The worker showed up on time and did a fantastic job. Thank you Sharin for being so flexible and getting me out of a jam. Would recommend highly to anyone.

The actual cleaning of the blinds was good. The installation/follow-up was very poor.

I called BlindWash on a Tuesday (being heartily sick of living with dirty, broken blinds) and was scheduled for a Friday morning visit. The lady taking my request was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The guys arrived early, which is a refreshing change. The actual cleaning work was done in an hour and the blinds are almost like new. I was prepared to toss out the blind with the irreparably broken cord but the senior guy recommended I order a replacement from the manufacturer. He will return at a later date to install the new cord and clean the remaining blind. I will definitely add BlindWash to my resource list.

I called for an appointment and they had given me an estimate over the phone as to the cost to clean hunter douglas silhoutte and honey comb shades. They showed up on time, and the owner advised me that I had been ripped off by window treatment company, that I indeed did not have hunter douglas products but an inferior product call comfortex. I address this issue under Gomer's in another report. He advised that he could clean them, but they were at a higher rate to tear and not have a good outcome if they had been hunter douglas. I agreed to move forward, The blinds came out great - I couldn't believe how clean they were and that they were dry. The price on the phone was higher than what I actually paid, becasue the product was differnt and slightly smaller he charged me less. Besides for being blown away that I got scammed by a business that I had been a customer for 20years, I had a very good experience with BlindWash.com

They had to come in and take the blinds down and label them and then take them out to there truck, where they did the cleaning.They then came back about 1 1/2 hours later and put them up. The blinds are 20 years old but sparkled. Our apartment is in a 4 story walk up, so the stairs had to be negotiated. We thought the guys were professional and pleasant. We would definitely use them again.

They have a mobile truck. They are very good. I usually use them once or twice a year. They are really excellent. They take the blinds down, go out to the truck, clean them and then come back and put them up for you. What's good is that you are not without blinds then. They did about ten blinds and it wasn't very expensive.

when i called to ask about their services, the woman was friendly and called back when she said she would to give me a time frame as to when i could expect someone to arrive on the date we arranged. the gentleman arrived within the time frame and quickly and efficiently took down the four blinds. he confirmed the price and pointed out to me that the pitting on the two older blinds would, of course, still be there after the cleaning. although i had expected that, i saw the point of his making something like that clear ahead of time. he said he would be back in about an hour, which he was. (they have a truck in which they clean the blinds.) he hung the blinds back up and even fixed the wand on one of the older blinds that had come loose. for someone like me who just cannot physically do this work anymore, this service was very much worth the money spent. if you'd rather not do it yourself, but want the job well done, these folks are a pleasure to deal with.
