There was nothing special about this. It went as it should.

Our building had Best Window Cleaning on a short list of vendors to use for window cleaning. The phone was promptly and professionally answered. The services were explained as well as how the cost would be determined. A date was set up to perform the cleaning, and the serviceman was on-time. He did a great job with the windows, explained a minor issue with some of the screens. Also importantly, he was careful with the furniture and floors. Will definitely have him back in the spring.

We were so excited to use Victor based on the previous reviews, but on nearly every dimension is was my worst experience with a services company. We have a six floor townhouse and knowing that the windows can be tricky, we scheduled an appointment with Victor for an estimate. The appointment was for a Saturday so we canceled the kids classes and waited for Victor - no show. The office manager called three days later embarrassed. Another appointment was made and then canceled by Victor last minute. Finally, Victor showed up one day and we got an estimate of $585 if we did it alone and less if we had other similar homes participate. I spent hours getting some other townhouses on our block in Brooklyn to participate. We eventually got ten homes in total to participate. When the time came to do the work, Victor showed up at the first home and said he couldn't do it - the cost was going to be at least $200 more and he needed different equipment (even though he provided an estimate). Everyone was furious on our block. We all set aside time in our busy days to schedule this work. Victor cancelled all our appointments.I decided to give him one last shot - everyone else had decided to find another contractor because the entire experience was awful. Our second appointment was scheduled at 9 am. No one had arrived by 10:30 and then I was told at 11 am that his car broke down and he couldn't make it. That was it. Fortunately, in NYC there are many companies with solid customer service so I have no doubt we will find someone enormously better. All ten townhouses are going to try Collins Window Cleaning instead. It is so refreshing to have Collins show up on time, Collins charges the amount he estimated, etc! And he seems to do a wonderful job!Ce

The service was absolutely excellent. The guys arrived on time and performed a thorough job on the windows and screens. They left with the mini blinds around 11:00 a.m. and said that they would arrive to reinstall them around 2:00 p.m. They returned with the blinds at 2:05 p.m. and the blinds looked like they were new. I was very impressed. I will definitely be using this company again. I have already recommended Best Local Window Cleaning to friends.

I was more than surprised to have been given a specific appointment time, not a four hour range of times, and then to have the window cleaner actually arrive at the specified time. He was very business-like, checking all the windows and their configurations to calculate the price and to get my approval before starting to work. My other surprise was that he didn't come with a safety belt, which my older building windows require, but he explained that most modern windows don't need that and as my building was not on their computer, they didn't know it was needed. Living near his office, it wasn't a problem for someone to deliver it to my building, but I would recommend that people be forewarned that they should specify the kind of windows when they make the appointment. The work was carefully done and I was very satisfied with the service.

I spent about $125 on that service. They were very efficient, did a good job and they were extremely neat and tidy and punctual. They did a pretty good job with the big windows and I was impressed.

It went well. On time, no damage and all the windows are really clean. Not cheap....but nothing is now.

Extremely professional. Hassan worked quickly and quietly and left no mess whatsoever. The only glitch was that he was about 20 minutes late: I called and got a response immediately telling me what happened and when to expect him. I would definitely recommend this company.

Pleasant young man arrived a little late and left some streaks on the windows, did not change wash water or rag when dirty, nor protect furniture and other furnishings. Did not replace anything he moved. He tried to remove the streaks, but maintained he couldn't do it. He also left a few dirty black streaks on my white-painted woodwork and didn't make any attempt to clean them off. Still, he seemed reliable and willing, and I felt safe around him. Admittedly, the windows were very dirty after the winter, but I think they still could have been cleaned better. There should not have been greasy-looking streaks on the window, he should have changed the water and the cloth and cleaning solution, and I should not have had to clean up after the window washer. He was young, but they should have trained him better.

THIS WAS A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. OUR WINDOWS ARE HARD TO REACH, SO IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE SOMEONE COME IN AND CLEAN THEM. THEY LAY DOWN SHEETING TO PROTECT THE FURNITURE AND FLOORING.
