We would have used Rosenhaus and sons, but would have been charged an additional fee since our contractor would have had to deal with delivery. They only offer curbside delivery, which did not work for our situation.

Worst customer service on earth! On the day our carpet was to be installed, Alan Rosenhaus (owner) never turned up and didn't even bother to call, leaving us to waste a day waiting for him. When we finally reached him by phone, he said he had no idea when he would be able to install our carpet (for which we had paid a 50% deposit) as he had no installers available. Given he knew that ours was a time-sensitive project, which had been scheduled and paid for six weeks in advance, his lack of concern for the difficult situation he had created for us was remarkable. Thoughout the next three stressful days, Alan Rosenhaus never updated us or showed any empathy for the anxiety his open-ended delays had created for us. And, when the job was finally finished, he did not clean up, apologize or offer a discount to make up for the appalling lack of customer service. In summary, you would be ill-advised to use a company where the owner does not keep his word and does not display any concern for his customers or the reputation of his business.

I phoned them and described a tiny job and they said they would send someone when they had time. They called me back a few days later and we set up a date. Most companies would not have bothered with this job. I would definitely use them again for carpet or wood floor installation.

The store is not the most user-friendly. An estimate was provided at an in-home visit. A few days later, when I requested a detailed breakdown of the cost, I did not get it. The owner was somewhat rude & made me feel stupid for asking for the details. Two workmen came punctually. One did all the work and the other was learning as he went.

They said they needed to find a time to fit in this small job and they called me back in a few weeks and asked if I wanted it done. I was busy and said I'd call back. We scheduled it and it was perfectly done at the agreed on time. They are a small unpretentious store but totally professional.

On time, reasonably priced

My problem with Alan Rosenhaus(owner-operator) was that he sent one man to do a job that should have been done by at least two. Was he saving himself money ?? It took this one worker six(6 hours) to install my living room carpeting.The room had only two (2) pieces of furniture.No heavy moving and I did help in the moving of the furniture,At no time during the six hours of installation did Mr. Rosenhaus call to check on how things were going or I would have told him of my feelings. He still has not called to see if I was satisfied.

Excellent. I wanted the entryway carpet replaced before a large family gathering approximately 11 days from the date I ordered the carpet. I received excellent advice about the type of carpet I should purchase for this highly trafficked area. I chose from a large selection. I viewed the samples in varying types of light. I accepted their kind offer to bring the samples home to see them in our entryway (which has poor light and affects the appearance of the carpet). I left a small deposit for this enormously helpful gesture. Alan offered to pick up the samples from our house when we were ready. In the end, we made a quick decision and I returned to the store to place the order. Alan's price guesstimates were remarkably close to the actual price of the job. He was straightforward about the timeline. Our mutual goal was for the carpet to be installed two days before the family gathering. They called that morning, came, installed and removed the carpet. I called to inquire when the job would be done, only to discover it had been done and my housekeeper forgot to mention it! Excellent service. We've used this company in the past. Knowledgeable & excellent service.

This is a very reliable company. This job was a small job in a brownstone one bedroom apt, but all personnel involved made it feel just as important as if it were a 10 room apt. I highly praise this company and recommend it to anyone seeking quality materials and quality installation at a fair price.

Workmen arrived on time and worked hard. Job took longer than expected. Have noticed a few small flaws. In some very small spaces where the moulding meets the floor, they did not cut the tile to fill in, so there are a few tiny gaps. I may be the only one to notice. I should have surveyed the work more carefully instead of looking around and seeing a nice new floor and saying it was OK.

They moved the furniture out of the bedroom, removed the old carpet and padding, then installed the new padding and carpeting, and moved all the furniture back in. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. They came on time, cleaned up after themselves, did a great job, and were pleasant and professional.

THEY ARE VERY EXCEPTIONAL IN EVERYTHING THAT THEY DO. THEY HAVE VERY GOOD, HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS. I HAVE HIRED THEM TO DO SEVERAL THINGS FOR MY HOUSE, AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE A TERRIFIC JOB.
