Tucked away on a lively stretch of Greenwich Village’s historic Christopher Street, sits Avalon Salon and Day Spa, an enchanting oasis of relaxation, comfort, and friendliness. With our expertly skilled staff and neighborhood atmosphere, Avalon is a full-service salon that caters to a clientele as wide ranging as any NYC has to offer. “I created Avalon as a place where anyone can feel welcome, get pampered, and above all, know they’ll be completely taken care of,” says proprietor Russell Bloom. His philosophy is rooted in the marriage of a warm, discreet environment, affordable price structure, and a staff of personable, highly-trained specialists. General Manager Tracy Jennissen adds, “Here at Avalon, we not only pride ourselves in taking care of each and every specific client need but we are very proud of our diversity and believe that it adds to a unique experience.” All services are available for both men and women.

We have used them many times, especially because they have great discounts. We have found them professional. Sometimes it's difficult to make an appointment, because it's rather small. We love their services!
