+ -1 moreThe cost of the service depends largely on the job. So it can run either way, more or less. She lives on my floor and I've associated with her for about 10 years now and I have found her to be smart and honest. I have seen her work and she was on a TV program like "Sell my house" or something like that.
Description of Work: She uses the feng shui method of balancing a room, and she also does regular home interior design. She makes good suggestions, and she has done not only homes but offices as well.

+ -1 moreJennifer was on time, real friendly. The contractors and all service people were very courteous and seemed to like working with such ease and confidence with her. Our home was protected and cleaned up at end of each work day. When she took us shopping for furniture, etc., it was really actually fun. I'm in web design and know it takes a lot to work with people and make their ideas come to life. It just turned out better than I hoped. I am so very pleased.
Description of Work: Ms. Frank came to my home and conducted a very professional initial consult. She explained everything in great detail and came up with great ideas, showed us magazine ideas also, colors, fabrics, window coverings, etc. She had different contractors come in and bid on work. She took all the fear and trepidation we had of having work done,strangers we didn't know coming to do the work, and if it would look great when done. We ended up doing our living room and dining room area! New furniture, paint, artwork, even beautiful built in china cabinet in dining area, new china, gorgeous rug.

+ -1 moreShe has an amazing website full of testimonials so even though she was more expensive, I decided I would get a lot more from her. Minimum $495 first consultation fee. She arrived on time and walked around the apartment and I explained my questions and concerns. She didn't have much to say. She didn't have solutions or ideas although she did have some practical advice (ie how to knock out a wall). I had some magazines and a layout and she basically just picked the color scheme from one of the photos, plus trim colors to go with it and helped me decide which walls to paint. She ok'd the only carpet I showed her. She said the curtains and artwork will "fall into place" ("you'll know it when you find it"). There wasn't really any guidance. I wanted to learn about alternatives I might not have considered, for color, layout, types of curtains, etc. She had almost nothing to say at all. She took me to the paint store, but overall really not close to worth the money. No energy or creativity.
Description of Work: I asked for help with picking paint colors, layout for my furniture, and advice with some problem areas (particularly a kitchen that I hate and a small foyer area I want to use better). I also needed help with carpet and curtains, and something to put on the walls.

+ -1 moreIt looks absolutely beautiful! The contractor was great! He was on time, efficient, clean and had a good sense of humor.
Description of Work: Hired her to re-do my entire living room. She did custom bookcases, re-upholstered 2 couches, bought a few pieces and new carpeting.
