+ -1 moreAnthony was great. He was able to diagnose, fix my badly plugged up sink and clean up reasonably well in one hour. He was friendly and very chatty. The job was messy and there was a horrendous odor. He took it all in stride. I was happy with the work. Later when I called the office to question my bill, the woman who answered (his wife I think) was not nice at all. I won't be doing business with them again.

+ -1 moreEverything went fine, appointment was for 5:30 pm and he showed up at 5:15pm. He went right to work and fixed the plumbing problems, and i was very happy with the service. Will call again when i have plumbing problems.
Description of Work: Fixed broken turn-off valve,fixed leaking cold water faucet in bathroom, also replaced leaky outdoor hose faucet.

+ -1 moreHe was fantastic! Very professional and familiar with working on a slab home, which presents different plumbing issues. I couldn't believe it when he said he was going to fix it right then and there, and not give me a big run around, as I've had in the past. His bill was very reasonable, and his work was excellent.
Description of Work: Anthony unclogged some pipes to get my water flowing to the sewer. It had been backing up and coming out beneath the powder room toilet.

+ -1 moreInital job was done fine, however, after routing out to lawn, water seeped right back into the cellar. Made a followup call to have the drain run further away from the house, he promptly arrived and completed the work quickly. Also followed up with an additional bill.....charging 1 hr labor for a 15 min job. When I paid the bill, put a note in there explaining that I was dissatisfied with the charge...I had used him many times before, (for primary home and rentals) and was expecting a call from him....but the call never came. Sorry to say....I will not be using in the future and have made contact with another plumber from Angie's list who will be getting my future business.

+ -1 moreWe were pleased with the work done by A and R Plumbing. He was always punctual and courteous. The work was done effectively and neatly. We felt the cost was reasonable for the number of hours involved.
Description of Work: We had a few plumbing needs that were addressed. Putting a new valve on the incoming water line which required coordination with the Water Authority. The plumber coordinated this effectively. We also had work done on a problematic bathtub drain that required some creative engineering and some time. He replaced an old toilet flushing mechanism. Lastly, he removed an old water filter which involved repairing a pipe. He was at the house two separate times.
