We decided to utilize the Angie List Concierge service since we were looking to replace our hand rail on our staircase and initially had trouble figuring out what kind of professional would do that kind of job--so they in turn sourced Mike's Fence for us. Mike's office contacted us immediately 1st thing come Monday morning to schedule an appointment. Initially the appointment was miscommunicated and there was a mix up between Mike Sr. and Mike Jr. and thus the appointment was a no show, however all was explained, apologized and they were able to reschedule the next evening to which we had the pleasure of meeting Mike Jr. They are a small family run business so we were very understanding of the mix up. Mike Jr. is a very nice guy, who was very patient with me (I am an A type personality and can have tons of questions! Hence the detailed review). He was nice enough to not only quote us for the PVC Railing we needed to replace but also took the time to walk the perimeter of our property so he can give us a quote for us to plan for future fencing the entire property. We were getting our front steps redone and putting in a new walkway so timing the job for the handrail was important for safety reasons. Unfortunately our masonry job was delayed 1 week due to weather thus causing us to ask Mike to push back 1 week for install. Mike Jr. was great with communication and was able to accommodate as best as he could schedule considering they now had another job to work on. We had no choice but to be patient since the masonry started late and caused the scheduling to change. We only waited 4 business days post new stairs, of which one day was rain. So not bad at all in terms of timing considering the circumstances. When the crew arrived they were great, took great care to not damage our new blue stone landing (which was very important that they use special drills for this kind of work) and the railing looks great! Apparently installing railings is quite a tricky job due to precise measurements and all that goes into it making sure it's perfect. One can not appreciate the work until witnessed. We are very pleased. The only thing we would caution (and we did ask the crew to be careful) about is the cement water mix that was used to get the posts in place. It did end up dripping over the landing and leaving white reside on our brand new grey stucco façade so we are hoping we can wash it off. We have receive so may compliments on the railings, as it's quite noticeable and really pops! The solar caps actually work better than we expected. They stay on all night long. In fact they went on the 1st night, not even fully charged and stayed on all night! They are just the right amount of illumination we wanted for our steps. We went with White Kansas T-rail PVC railing with Solar Caps. We also had a smaller railing placed at the base of another staircase, but it had to be wrought iron and Mike Jr. was great in communicating our options for this smaller area since a PVC railing would be too large for the space. We have all intentions of hiring Mike's Fence to return to install fencing on our property in the near future and look forward to working with them again.

I called and my call was returned the following day. An appointment was set up and Joe came out. Joe kept the appointment and was on time. We know that doesn?t always happen. I told him what I wanted and he actually listened. He measured and sent me an estimate for the job on 10/17/2013. I accepted and Joe came out again with Mike, the owner, to look over the job. Mike answered any additional and all questions to my satisfaction. Mike was present during the adjustment stage and for the final installation which was on 12/27/2013. Mike and his workers were very professional and knowledgeable. The railings took a little longer than I wanted but it was worth the wait. I am very satisfied with the production and installation of my railings. I love them!! Would I have Mike?s Fence come again? I definitely would. I plan to call him in the spring to do a couple of fix-its to my front gate.

Mike Fence was a great choice. I talked to every PVC Fence supplier in the area. I got really different quotes for the same price. Mike Fence gave me the best quote and did an amazing job. They installed two sides of a fenced-in yard with PVC fencing. It is beautiful!! We got it two-toned to match the house and trim. It has an arbor and is so beautiful. His team was on time, professional, very clean and very skilled. They even installed it sooner than expected. I was trhilled. I would totally recommend them to anyone.

It was a small job, but Miguel showed up on time to get the information for the estimate and the estimate was very reasonable compared to another company I contacted. Most of the work was done off site and the day of the appointment the workers came on time and completed the work at the house in 1/2 day. They did not require a deposit because of the size of the job and the quality of the work was very good.

MikeFence did a great job. I wish he could have painted the fence too but ultimately the correct install of the fence was more important than anything. We were worried that the prior contractor's install was a ticking time bomb to fall or injure someone. Mike Fence was superb in quality of service, quick and efficient with the installation and honest with the cost. We liked him so much we have asked him to bring us a quote on some drain covers we needed done as well.

We needed a fence for privacy, since our yard fence had a gate that led to the block around the corner. After getting quotes from 3 other companies, Mike's Fence was the best value. He came out and measured the fence area for the initial estimate, which we got shortly after the first meeting. Once the estimate was approved, we scheduled the job, for about 2 weeks later. Mike and his team came on time, worked well and finished the job in one day as planned. The fence looks great and really adds to the back yard. And now we don't have to worry about privacy issues.

Mike's Fence's price was more reasonable than all the other fencing companies that I contacted, and I contacted a lot of companies. Mike's Fence was very knowledgeable, professional, cooperative and very punctual. I couldn't believe how quick and adept they were at putting up that fence! Wow! I consider myself very lucky to have found them. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

His prices are very reasonable. I shopped around before hiring him and was very satisfied with his work. He did a very good job.
