Description of Work: They did not do what they said to me, the yard is terrible, and the sprinkler system they installed is not even working. I keep calling them and they said he is either on vacation or in a conference and will get back to me.

Description of Work: They managed the landscaping and maintenance of my yard. They are expensive but they do good work.

Description of Work: They are providing a full year of organic fertilization. I believe it’s been going fine and that we have used them before.

Description of Work: Contract purchased with Greener by Design on 9/6/14 to aerate and overseed front and back lawns (2,200 sf.)at a Special Price of $149.00. Contract specified that work had to be accomplished within 25 days. Received e-mail from Georgina on 9/8 that that the total lawn size had to be verified to ensure that it was less than 7,000 sf. This would take 7-10 days and then a mutually agreeable date can be set to have the work done. Georgina was my primary contact. On 9/22 I received an e-mail that the work was scheduled to be done on 9/23 or 9/25. It was not done on 9/23 and it rained on 9/25. I called on 9/24 but there was no connection. Georgina e-mailed me on 9/25 that she was unable to contact me because their phone system was being changed and their internet service was also interrupted. She stated that the ground would be too soft to accomplish the aeration so it was being rescheduled to 9/29 or 9/30. It was not done on 9/29 and the forecast indicated rain for 9/30. I was concerned that the work would not be accomplished within the specified 25 days by 9/30 (although Georgina previously indicated that I would not be held to the date). It did not rain on 9/30. Since I didn't hear from Georgina by noontime, I called and was told that the crew would do the work between 4-5PM. The two man crew arrived at 4PM. They addressed my concerns. The job was done smoothly and quickly. As of this date (10/30/14) I can see positive results with my lawn. It has a good green color and new grass is growing as a result of the overseedng. Based on my discussion with the crew I added starter fertilizer after the overseeding. |I'm very satisfied with the quality of work, the price and everyone's professionalism. I also understand that this type of work is subject to delays because of weather conditions. However, the area that can use some improvement is in keeping the customer advised in a timely manner, especially when the customer indicated that he needs to be available to point out where a 5 foot stump was ground down below ground level and that it may (or may not cause a problem).

Description of Work: Sopiked and seeded lawn. My back yard is very hard and in most places, i could not see any holes or dirt turds. i saw a small amount of hay in some spots , but did not really see any grass seed on the bare areas.foT

Description of Work: Built retaining wall, built fence on top, relocated plants, removed rocks and pavers, leveled and seeded ground. We hired Greener by Design to create a grassy play area for our kids from a paved, rocky, overgrown and ramshackle yard. The area also had a drop of approx 10 feet (reason for the fence).

Description of Work: Greener by Design did several jobs on our property: Built two retaining walls in the garden, removed about 20 old trees, helped me select 13 replacement trees and planted them, removed some old construction debris and did lawn maintenance.

Description of Work: They came and designed a brick paver patio in our back yard.
