LaRocca's company was very sensitive to our feelings in doing this patio for the second time since we were not happy with the original one that was done by another company. They were absolutely perfectionists and understood how important thjs project was to us and that we wanted it to be something we could be proud of. They gave us a projected time of completion and brought it in exactly on time. They were professional and very courteous in dealing with my husband and me and their price was the lowest of the three bids we got. My husband and I can recommend them without hesitation to anyone who wants to use them. They were outstanding. I would give them a mark of A+++++.

Very well. The owner and workers were professional, punctual and very responsive to my questions and concerns. They were also creative in coming up with solutions to unforseen problems.

Mr. LaRocca and his staff were very professional and responsive. They did a great job with the stonework. Mr. LaRocca knows his business and was always willing to take the time to discuss any concerns or answer any questions. Very impressed with the work and staff.

This was the absolute worst service I've ever encountered with any kind of business. After reviewing the contract, he and his crew set out to remove a tree and relandscape my backyard to accomodate drainage. He did the absolute opposite (other than actually removing the tree properly) and set a swale for water to run against the house and through the basement as opposed to away from the house as specified in the contract. When I called Mr LaRocca on his errors, citing it was in the contract, he flat out told me I was wrong (which I was not) and that I must have misunderstood the contract. Even his secretary admitted there was an error on his behalf, but did NOTHING to help me. He was rude when I spoke to him and then had the nerve to give a four thousand dollar estimate to correct the mistakes.

Courteous, attentive treatment, gave lots of time and thought for estimate. Workers were timely, polite, neat, and did a great job.

LaRocca came to install a walkway next to the back of the house. When I questioned the level of the walkway (it was being placed against the raw wood of the sill plate) the rep became abusive and told the men to pack up and leave. I tried to say that I didn't think the work was being done right, and he got even angrier, and actually had them start to pack up. The walkway was nearly half done by then, so how was I to deal with them stopping in the middle? He said I should "talk to my carpenter" about protecting the sill plate, and refused to discuss the idea that LaRocca shouldn't be building a concrete walkway next to wood. In the end my husband and I went to a masonry supply center and bought a membrane which we installed OURSELVES. They finished the walkway against the membrane. I still worry about the possibility of water getting in. The whole experience was miserable and unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

If I could give them a rating higher than an A, I would. The men arrived early every morning and worked throughout the day. I was very impressed with their work ethic. They tore out my wood entrance/deck, put in a cinder block base, filled it with cement and put natural stone risers and slate steps in. My new, stone entrance looks fantastic, and I plan on hiring them to replace a stone wall in my backyard. Highly recommended!!

Requested to be contacted for an estimate on paving my driveway and got no response.

They did not follow the landscape architect's plan, and when I pointed this our to them halfway through the work, LaRocca became hostile, abusive and actually pulled the crew off the job. In the end, I let them finish, though I think the work will eventually lead to water problems. It would have been impossible for us to find another crew to complete the work, and winter was coning on. DO NOT hire these people.

It went very badly. The person that they sent out to measure the sidewalks didn't measure them correctly, so when the concrete people came the measurements were off. They did pour me a bit extra but not much. We noticed the first cracks and chipping in August of this year and it has been getting worse as time goes by. He actually screamed at my husband and called him a foul name, so now we are contacting him through our attorney.

I liked the workmanship and the excavation was handled very well. They had enough laborers to do the job, and they did it in a nice orderly manner. They had to do some grading and the actual finished job is very well done. They listened to our input on stone placement suggestions and they did just what we suggested.

They do a good job and I like their employees. They are all friendly and efficient. The yard looks great and there is never a mess left behind. I think that the prices are reasonable as well. The work is done quickly and they are dependable. I am satisfied. We pay per visit.

THE PRICE IS ALL RIGHT. IT IS ONE DAY A WEEK. THE LAWN IS PATCHY IN PARTS. I DON'T REALLY LIKE THE WAY IT LOOKS. I ALSO HAD A PROBLEM WITH HIM RUNNING OVER GARBAGE IN THE YARD INSTEAD OF PICKING IT UP AND THROWING IT AWAY. I THINKG I AM GOING TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY THIS SPRING.

HE WAS RESPONSIVE, REASONABLY PRICED, HELPFUL AND LISTENED. HE DIDN'T SEEM TOO EXPENSIVE, IT SEEMED TO BE ACCEPTABLE PRICING. THEY WERE ALSO PROFESSIONAL.
