HIRED ALPINE CHIMNEY TO GET TWO CHIMNEY'S REPAIRED THEY TOOK DEPOSIT REPLACED LINER IN ONE CHIMNEY PLUS CAPS FOR 1400. THEN TOOK DEPOSIT TO REPAIR THE CHIMNEY BRICKS. THEY WERE HARD TO GET A HOLD OF DID NOT RETURN CALLS PROMPTLY AND DID NOT COMPLETE JOB THEY HAD TOOK DEPOSIT FOR FOR ABOUT A MONTH. AFTER MAKING MULTPILE ATTEMPTS TO FIND OUT ABOUT JOB STATUS TO NO AVAIL HAD TO CONTACT SERVICE MAGIC TO GET REFUND OF DEPOSIT. ON TOP OF ALL THIS AFTER LOOKING FOR NEW COMPANY TO REPLACE CHIMNEY BRICKS A COMPETITOR SAID THEY INSTALLED THE INCORRECT LINER FOR THE CHIMNEY,THEY INSTALLED A 5.5 INCH LINER WHEN IT SHOULD BE SIX INCH PER CODE.

They were very informative as to what work needed to be performed,very polite,the crew left the work site extremely clean after the job was completed! Would definitely hire them again!!

My lesson: do not pay any deposit until they finish the work and do not pay them all at a time. Once they have your money they will put off their work as long as they can find an excuse ( and they can always ! )

They were honest!

They came in and out, very quick job. Little talk it was more about selling the rain caps. I check the fire place after they finished, there was dirt on it. No recomendation about the linning which is in very poor condition. I saw this after they left. I am not sure if i could use the fire place. They should start by making an inspection not by jumping on a lousy job. $450 down the drain.

Price for service a bit on the high side.
