TWO BROTHERS TREE SVC

Ben estimated our tree service needs, and was very insightful about making suggestions for the kinds of trees we have on the property. He suggested a couple ways of dealing with the magnolia that tends to grow quickly, then fall apart. He suggested “elevating” (cutting the lower limbs off) some of the trees that were blocking light that could allow some of the smaller plants and bushes to grow. I'm sorry we didn't take pics of the team and equipment while they were in action to better demonstrate their professionalism. He and his team paid a lot of attention to removing or pushing aside a lot of debris/deadwood that allows water to be diverted into our garage and basement when it rains heavily. We were impressed with the work, the competence of his team, and his courteous manner. We were also impressed with the price. We definitely recommend him as an arborist.

Ben was quick to come out and get us an estimate to remove several trees around our home that were either dead or rotted. We were able to schedule the work pretty soon after and his team completed the job in a few hours. Trees were cut into logs to size to fit our wood stove and the rest was chipped for mulch. Great value and professional service!

Benny was very understanding of my needs. He had his crew cut out dead limbs and the splintered top of one tree that split during a heavy wet snowstorm. His crew was able to take down two trees that were leaning over and above a garage without causing any damage to the structure. They chipped all of the branches and cut up limbs 6" and bigger into 16-18" pieces so that I could use them as firewood. Overall, Two Brothers performed an excellent job. I will hire again when needed and recommend their service.

I called Two Brothers 265-6663, I dealt with Howie who responded quickly to my call, came and spent time looking over the job and then gave me a written estimate. There were three trucks and four men. Using an impressively high bucket one man went up and started clearing the old maple that was overhanging the house. The others were overseeing the work, asking me if I agreed with the shape they were careful to maintain, cutting up the bigger branches and chipping the small ones. They worked for over three hours, broke for lunch came back, moved the equipment and started taking down the other tree. They used mats under the trucks, so they didn't dig up the lawn. They started at 9:20 and finished at about 3:30. They did exactly what I asked them to do and I am very happy with the outcome.

He did cut down the trees overhanging the house. He also said that he would cut some branches off the red oak but that was not done. However, I was rather satisfied with the work and price. Possibly I would use him again in the future. It is not easy finding reliable contractors but I think this could be a good one

The planning consultation with Ben Munch went well. He was attentive, respectful, and good at problem-solving. He understood exactly what we wanted and made creative suggestions. The price he quoted was reasonable. The men who came to do the work had been very well instructed by Ben and they did an excellent job. Scheduling was prompt. My only quibble (and it's minor) is that I would like to have known ahead of time that Ben himself would not be there for most of the duration of the job. Shortly after they left, a high branch partially broke and was dangling dangerously. I called Ben and they returned quickly to take care of it.

The Service Manager visited our house late September for a firewood cutting/splitting job and gave his estimate. I accepted several days later via a telephone message. I called three more times until mid-November, leaving messages, but none of the calls were answered. The firewood service is advertised by Two Brothers on Angie's List, but they don't provide the service. They cannot be recommended.

Estimate was very reasonable. Crew of four showed up on the scheduled day at 8:30 am. Trimming was done in 15 minutes and with the aid of a large bucket truck, they had the tree down in about 2.5 hours. Pine was chipped and clean-up done by 11:00 am. These guys are very good at what they do and very efficient. The pine they took down was in between my electric line and another run that is the old Verizon phone line and current TWC cable line. There was less than 6 feet of clearnance to the cable lind and no more than 10 feet to the electric line. They had no problem maneuvering their truck and the bucket around the lines and, from what I could see, never even came close to either line at any time the tree was coming down. Very professional work at a very fair price. I'd definitely use them again.

A crew of 5 men arrived right on time, worked hard all day. They are extremely skilled at what they do, were very responsive to what we wanted done, and friendly. They've done work for us in the past and we'll be happy to call them in the future.

They came a few days later with some awesome equipment. They chipped all of the wood they trimmed and left my property looking better than when they first came. Bravo!

I have always been pleased with them. I have been using them for about 10 years now.

The tree service chose a date to take down the diseased maple in the front yard - a tree that was at least 50 years old and near the house. They told us a range of available dates, and we chose one that suited our needs. They arrived with a team, cherry-picker, chain saws, and a truck with a chipper. They took down the tree in hours, carefully moving each section from its location in the air to a location on the ground. They carefully avoided damaging ANY of the shrubs that could easily have suffered irreparable damage from having a heavy section of maple fall on them. They finished in a timely fashion, left no garbage. They put all the branches in the chipper. We had agreed that they not take the roots of the tree out, but they gave us the name of someone who would grind down the trunk to ground level. That person was also professional and prompt. My husband and I were impressed with their service, handiness with tools, teamwork, and care for the house and grounds.

They took out a tree that was dying in the front yard. They did a wonderful job. They didn't damage any of the vegetation. They have also trimmed some trees for us.
