I know Larry over 20 years, he did for me the window treatments and drapes in my former house,I bought a new house of course I called Larry,he did for me the whole house. If anything goes wrong he comes and fixes it, he is a trust worthy

I called and was able to set up a very timely in-home appointment to consult as to various options as to window treatments. Larry provided excellent advice as to style and options. After we agreed upon the window treatments, Larry subsequently provided a very reasonable price and an estimate as to when the installation would occur. Larry's installer, John, was terrific to work with and completed his efforts very quickly. Although I subsequently ran into a minor adjustment issue with one of the shades, a quick phone conversation with Larry resulted in another timely and brief visit from John. Terrific dealing with professionals who take pride in their work and stand behind the results. I would definitely avail myself of Larry's services in the future and would recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

The reception at the showroom was very professional, I dealt with the owner directly The quote came within a few days as promised and expected. I didn't shop it too much but had an idea as to where the price points would have to be and the price was very fair The installation was scheduled with very little complications, the installation and product were excellent and I am very satisfied A few weeks ago, one of the blinds got stuck or wouldn't pull down, I called them and within a few days they had a man over there to fix the problem Overall a great experience, wouldn't hesitate to use them again and again

We had a Hunter Douglas patio door shade (which we did not purchase at Larry's Design Center) that was operated by a remote control device. After several years, the remote control failed and we could not operate the shade. Since Hunter Douglas offers a lifetime guarantee for its products, we brought the shade to Larry's Design Center, an authorized dealer, for repair. HD only guarantees its motorized devices for 5 years and could/would not make the requested repair. We asked if HD would be able to make the shade corded instead of motorized. This way, we would not have to replace the whole shade - an expensive endeavor. Larry said he would inquire. He did and the shade remake was successful. If you are wondering why this review is Angie's List worthy, it's because....we never even met Larry and he didn't know us. We communicated by phone and email. Yet, he was cordial, sincere, honest, and truly consumer oriented. Anyone other than Larry could have turned this into an unsatisfactory experience. But, we determined Larry to be a rare person with regard to true customer satisfaction.

Of the two vendors I got estimates from, Larry's was the more professional (the other vendor was slightly cheaper, but bad-mouthed Larry's). My gut was to go with the more professional vendor (who didn't bad-mouth their competition). Larry's price was only slightly higher than the other vendor ($200), but I don't regret my decision. Larry's Design provided an in-home consultation to discuss the different window treatment ideas I had, and offer their opinion. After I selected them for my business, they had someone come measure my windows for installation, and then that same person returned when the shutters were ready and installed them.

Everything went well. Delivery was as promised

We bought window shades for our bedroom. They were professional. Although the price seemed high, it was in line with other stores selling the same brand.

There isn't much to tell. They came, they measured, they installed. They were very polite and personable. They were clearly interested in doing a good job. They offered suggestions but were more focused on meeting our needs than on making a sale. I am very happy with the job they did. Always mention Angie's list. A business worth its salt cares about its reputation.

Called with a simple request. Placed me on hold and then was RUDE when got back on the phone. Very rigid and unwilling to listen or provide any customer service whatsoever.

The project went well and was completed earlier than expected.

Very satisfied. Larry spoke to us by phone and helped us get us sense via his website about options to think about. He later came to our house to measure and provide an estimate for various options. He emailed us estimates and made us aware of all the manufacturer rebate deadlines. He kept on top of us in order to get our order in on time to get the rebate (~15%). His installer came and installed the blinds and was very professional.

The work was good. We decided to go with them because they have a reputation for good quality. They were very good. Overall the job went very well. We will use their services again in the future.

Significantly less expensive than Home Depot for the identical product, with much higher level of service. Larry will come to your house with a carload of samples to help you figure out the perfect product for your space. Professional measurement and installation ensures a perfect fit. They even changed some of my window's hardware to better accommodate the window treatments. I would confidently recommend them to anyone looking for a stress free shopping experience.

After visiting several local competitors, my girlfriend and I stopped at Larry's Design Center to look at window treatments since they are located near my office and I'd passed by them on a number of occasions. I had a very good idea of what I wanted in window treatments and fairly accurate measurements of my windows on hand but Larry took the time to explain the differences between the types of window treatments available just to make sure I'd covered my bases. Once I reaffirmed my choice of Hunter Douglas Silhouette blinds for my kitchen and living room and Hunter Douglas wood blinds with old-school style wide tape for my bedroom, Larry offered me an estimate for the blinds including tax and installation. Although the overall cost of the blinds was a bit more than I anticipated after seeing the prices from the DYI stores, my girlfriend and I were impressed enough by Larry's products and professionalism that we felt the numbers were still reasonable decided on the spot to give him our business. At that point, I made an appointment for one of his designers to visit my apartment to help finalize my selections. Shortly thereafter, his installer called to make an appointment with me to confirm the measurements of my windows so Larry could pace my order. Both were prompt and professional. Larry placed my order and said the blinds would arrive in approximately three weeks. The blinds arrived early. After making an appointment with me, the installer brought them to my apartment and completed the job very quickly and took all the time necessary to ensure I understood how to operate and clean properly both the silhouette and wood blinds. The silhouette blinds are a little different than regular blinds and require a tad more care than the typical off-the-shelf mini blinds available at your local big box store. About three weeks after installation, a component for necessary to prevent the blinds from rolling into its housing to the point of breaking them popped off one of the blinds in my living room. I didn't know what it was at the time but called Larry concerned that I'd broken the blinds. Larry explained to me the purpose of the component and sent his installer to my apartment within a day or so to put the piece into place once more. I felt at the time I ordered my blinds that Larry would stand behind his work in the unlikely event of a problem and they lived up to my expectations. Overall, I absolutely recommend Larry's Design Center. The prices are fair for the quality and professionalism and they stand behind their work. I'd go back to Larry's Design Center without hesitation.

THIS IS A PRICEY SERVICE BUT THEY PROVIDE QUALITY PRODUCTS AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEIR MEASUREMENTS ARE GOOD, RESULTING IN AN EXACT FIT. THEIR CAPABILITIES ALSO INCLUDE UPHOLSTERY SERVICES. THEIR CONSULTATION SERVICES ARE EXCELLENT.
