+ 0 moreIt went great. Any problems were dealt with immediately. The plastering and painting required a lot of work, because years ago, my daughter put up glow in the dark things on her bedroom ceiling, and wrote on the walls in her room, and our living room walls had bowed out in two places, but the painters were able to deal with it all. All of the workers were professional and polite.
Description of Work: We had the following work done: Replaced cabinet under sink, and Formica counter top. Hooked up washing machine to fill and drain directly into the main drain line under the kitchen sink. Replaced vanity, sink top, faucet and radiator cover in bathroom. Replaced pull chain light in hallway. Replaced doors in one bedroom and the bathroom. Plastered and painted the apartment.

Description of Work: Golden Hammer employees arrived on time and finished the job (under-stairs closet drywall with light installation) quickly, efficiently, and neatly for a fair price. I would not hesitate to use their services again. This was the 2nd job performed for us by Golden Hammer; hence, we are repeat customers...and will happily call them again when the need arises.

+ 0 moreAfter reviewing various bids, Golden Hammer bid was reasonable. Contractor was approved by condominium board and submitted drawings. I was very pleased with the work that was done. Contractors arrived on time and work went quickly and was completed on schedule. They were neat and cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. The carpenter and electrician were knowledgeable and had made very good suggestions. Final inspection was made by the conominium board representative and the work was approved. I highly recommend this contractor.
Description of Work: Upgrading my condominium apartment, by removing and building new closets with bi-fold doors. Relocate a 15' wall, re-supporting ceiling beams. Extend walls to accomodate new doorway arches. Installing new arches on existing doorways. Add and relocate electrical wall switches and outlets. Removing existing ceiling fans and install new ceiling fixtures.

+ 0 moreWe hired Golden Hammer Home Improvement to build our restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and are in the process of suing them for not finishing the job and running off with our money. Absolutely avoid at all costs. In addition avoid any contractor going by the name Scott Provost, Scott Proos, or Scott Franks. Its all the same guy and he is a criminal con-artist so stay away.
Description of Work: Built 10% of job and ran off with our money.
