We purchased $10,831.79 worth of Maytag appliances (for two homes) from Morehouse. Our $2,700 refrigerator leaked all over our new home's hardwood floor warping and cupping the boards in front of it which will require replacement of the floor. After several attempts by the Morehouse tech to repair the leak, Morehouse said they couldn't help us by replacing the refrigerator and told us to contact Whirlpool who makes Maytag. Instead of replacing the refrigerator, they basically threw us under the bus and told us to deal with Whirlpool. Whirlpool did replace the refrigerator, however, it was replaced with a box store model - not the same quality we purchased from Morehouse. Furthermore, Whirlpool uses a trucking company to deliver appliances and the delivery men who we had were not trained in appliance installation. They left without being able to hook up the in-door water/ice; level the doors; or place the wheel brakes allowing the refrigerator to slide freely. We have since had two service calls and as of this writing, the ice maker still does not work. We intentionally went to an appliance store and not a box store in order to purchase higher quality merchandise and not box store quality. With the amount we spent at Morehouse, one would expect them to stand behind their customers if a product they sold us was faulty. This, sadly, did not happen. Please be aware of 'after they make the sale' and have your money, they will not stand behind their products. BEWARE of Morehouse Appliances!!!

Morehouse Appliance came to the house and installed our new fridge, and they were very professional. After they installed the fridge, they made sure it was running properly, and they left.
Description of Work: I bought a refrigerator from Morehouse Appliance, and they came out and installed it.

When speaking to the manager, I offered to pay the price difference between the model that was delivered and the one that I want AND a 3 year service contract ($130). He said I would have to pay the difference in addition to the $180 stocking fee. I just returned the refrigerator and he charged the $180 to my credit card on file. When the company came to pick up the wrong refrigerator (I was expecting that they were going to bring me the correct one), they just took the wrong refrigerator and left. The delivery men were told to just take out the wrong refrigerator and not put in my original refrigerator back in place which was out in the garage. The delivery men put in my original refrigerator, against their boss's wishes. It was a mistake, and I was working with the manager to work it out and he wasn't responsive and very angry.
Description of Work: I went into the store. The salesman showed me model A and B of a refrigerator. By clerical error, he wrote up model C. They delivered model C and I told them it was the wrong refrigerator. The delivery man contacted the manager, I spoke with him and he said to check the number on the contract to the number on the refrigerator. It was the same. I do not want model C, and they took model C refrigerator back and charged me a $180 restocking fee for the wrong refrigerator.
