+ -1 moreI was hearing chirping in the chimney and wanted to be sure no nests were in the chimney. I called Colonial and he was able to come the next day since he had a cancelation. They got here 15 minutes early. Did an inspection and all was clear and good in the chimney. He did an outside ground inspection. He noticed the chimney had some bricks where the mortar was lacking. Make a recommendation to have it repaired before bricks came lose. They were prompt, efficient, friendly, and very professional.

+ 0 moreWonderful! Called on Wednesday and they were able to come out Friday to inspect. They inspected and installed an upgrade to my cap per my request. No pressure ever felt.
Description of Work: Today, Ron and his helper came out to inspect my woodburning fireplace. They did note the cap did not have a guard over it but did not pressure me into thinking I needed it. I went with the new cap to keep animals/critters/debris out. If I would have only had the inspection cost was $55. I opted to be prepared to keep the others out so the cost went up with the price of a new cap with guard. Ron was punctual and arrived before time. Very thorough in the inspection. I would highly recommend Colonial Chimney Sweeps!

Description of Work: Today, I had services rendered for a chimney sweep and Ron was punctual and arrived at my residence way before schedule. He examined the chimeny and the fireplace and he performed a small task of examining and repairing a furnace cap for me. He did not try to sell me any services that were not needed and was not at all "high pressure." I would highly recommend Ron from Colonial Chimney Sweeps.

+ -1 moreThey cleaned and inspected my wood burning furnace chimney. They are very thorough and offer very good suggestions on the overall maintanence of my system, such as using dehumidifiers in the cellar, to keep humidity down, thus preventing the unwanted effects of humidity on motors.
