Ward Painting far exceeded our expectations for exterior painting of our entire house, cabana, doors, shutters -- by a lot! Based on the excellent complete re-roofing job done for us by Frank J. Tucek & Sons Roofing, we asked for a referral to an exterior painter and that's how we lucked out with Ward Painting. Sean, Michelle, David and crew were an absolute joy to work with. From beginning to end of the job, they were professional, prompt, thorough, cooperative and, most importantly, meticulous! For example: where our previous exterior painter just covered over peeling paint with more paint, Ward's crew power-washed, then hand-scraped down to bare wood, oil primed, then painted two coats. They worked efficiently, unobtrusively, and carefully, protecting all bushes, trees, flowers and shrubs. Even during that brutally hot spell we had this past summer, the workers arrived early to make best use of the cooler morning hours. We are not exaggerating when we rave about the work they did and we encourage Michelle to add our name to the extensive list of positive references they already have (all of which we called, btw!). Ward Painting is a busy group, but they are well worth any wait for their service.

As much as I would like to recommend Ward Painting given their efforts at the Valley Cottage library, I cannot. Sean Ward reviewed my house for an interior painting project, stated he would get back to me with an estimate, but did not. I followed up twice to give the business a chance. Still nothing. Ultimately, this reduces to the following: if you cannot respond to a customer, or adhere to a promise, that indicates lack of care, which indicates a lack of professionalism inimical to Ward Painting's reputation.

The guys arrived promptly and were very professional. They totally transformed my outdated dining room by removing the old warped drywall on the walls and ceiling and replaced it with new smooth drywall. The painting job was perfect, and they added crown molding to make the dining room look elegant. The employees were very quiet and respectful and left my room clean each day when they were done. I will be using them again!

Prompt response to my request for an estimate. Fair and reasonable negotiation on scope of work and price. Work began in a reasonable timeframe and was completed to my satisfaction within a few days. The owner, Sean, was hands on for the first 2 days, and visited the site in the last 2 days, reviewing the entire job in detail with his foreman and with me. Both Sean and his crew were personable and professional. Everything was clean and neat when they left each evening, and any questions I had were immediately addressed. I highly recommend Ward Painting.
