After seeing the hillside behind my house Barry, one of the owners of the business, put down on paper his vision for the site. After explaining to his crew what he wanted, Barry and his crew made up of Nick, Edgar and Tony went about transforming the hillside. Using a mix of perennial plants and installing a dry stream bed, we have an interesting and colorful landscape to view year round. We liked his work so much that we hired him to build a platform landing or step at the back door to our house. Constructed of slab rock and brick pavers. the platform landing blended so well with an adjoining paver patio, you would never know that the two areas were installed years apart. We like his work so much that we have invited him back in April 2015 to continue the transformation of our property. We would recommend Barry and Utopia without hesitation to friends, family and folks we have yet to meet. Costs of the projects $15,300.

Barry and his team did a great job! His attention to detail really paid off. His vision for our front walkway and steps was far superior to the ideas we had, and he explained how each design and material choice would affect the bottom line. He even picked us up and drove us to some of his clients' homes to give us ideas. We ended up going with pavers and bluestone, and it turned out beautiful. He even offered suggestions on plants that we could put in that would be low-maintenance and durable. Be aware that this prices may be higher, but we are very pleased with the results!

He was able to come out quickly and did a great job. I would definitely recommend him.

I was trapped in my driveway with a foot + of snow, packed entrance from road snow plows coming guy. My regular guy didn't show up, got on the computer and guy called back within 5 minutes, set up to come ASAP, arrived in an hour, maneuvered around the packed snow, hand shoveled out my two cars and walkway. Highly responsible and highly recommend.

I was left in a bind during the snow storms this winter when my usual guy decided he didnt' want to plow anymore. Even though I was outside his 'normal area' Barry responded quickly, was reasonably priced and friendly. I look forward to using him on some other landscape projects this spring.

By 4pm the I had hired had not shown. I had to work the next day so the service was an emergency. Barry had just finished his rounds, but agreed to come out to my house. He did a great job and the price was reasonable.

First time I contacted him was aftera large snowfall. He came within 30" of the call and did a good job at a fair price

We are having a wonderful experience...Barry is very creative...he listens and offers wonderful suggestions and gave us a number of options. He is meticulous, comes when he says he's coming and his team is very hardworking. At first I thought the price was high but now that I understand the process the quote was more than fair.

I have not used them for snow removal yet, but ended up having a contract with him for my landscaping. He is very thorough, artistic, knowledgeable, and personal. I have been happy with his work.
