 + -1 moreThe designer evaluated all of the materials that were available for the project and then prepared a detailed step by step design plan describing how the project would be completed. All material and labor costs were itemized in advance. The designer committed to completion of the project within a specified time and within budget. Both objectives were met and the end result was a beautifully designed functional home office.
Description of Work: One of my spare bedrooms was transformed into a home office. The office furniture was creatively developed by repurposing unused materials that I had collected over time.

 + -1 moreI don't usually write reviews, I'm one of those customers where If I am not happy I just never go back and if I am then I will continue to do business with the company. But I must say, my personal experience with RLH was extra ordinary that I feel they deserve the praise. I had a great room that was so big I had no clue where to start. A friend recommended RLH and from the moment I met Robin she was such a pleasure to work with, she was professional, punctual, paid attention to detail, responsive you name it. Robin goes above and beyond and she doesn't stop until the job is done. My room was changed from top to bottom, I mean the quality of work I cannot even put it into words. I get compliments from my guests all the time and I can tell you this, anyone who uses this lady will NEVER regret it. My husband was skeptical about hiring a designer at first because of the cost but now he won't get out of the living room. I cannot wait for our next project Thank you Robin!!!!
Description of Work: We recently purchased a home that has big rooms and the great room made the furniture I had look awkwardly small and out of place. So I hired Robin L. Ham from RLH Design Consultants, Inc. to help me. She made sketches with different sitting options, went shopping with me to buy new furniture, rugs, accessories and new window treatments and repurposed some of the pieces that I already had. She also helped with the painting of the room and then finally arranging and making sure everything fell in place. She pretty much did everything designing, shopping and decorating, my room looks different.

 + -1 moreThe project went very smoothly. All deadlines met and the project was completed on time and within budget. I can't wait to get started on my next project with RLH.
Description of Work: I call the project "repurposing". RLH changed an unused bedroom into my favotite room in the entire house. When they started there were sponge bob decals on the walls in an otherwise empty room. When they finished I had a tv and entertainment corner, marble counters, a floating marble computer workstation, an art corner, a garden corner and a custom made window seat. Most of the materials used to create the space were repurposed items, including kitchen cabinets for a kitchen that I never built and my broken marble dining room table.
