These guys rock. Honest, Fair and knowledgeable. A while back I called about a service upgrade (my 150A box was overfull, with quite a few “double-ups” accumulated over the decades). After taking a look, Bob suggested I instead go with a sub-panel as my issue was real-estate rather than load. That cut my cost in half and made me a double-pole believer. Since then I’ve used DP for all my electrical needs. When we recently redid my kitchen, I had Bob come in for a quote on wiring new outlets, switches and lighting. He made a few design recommendations (including under-cabinet lighting) , many of which I went with and am glad I did (My wife LOVES the UC lighting). Pricing is always fair. His work-teams have been consistently on-time and excellent. What more can you ask for?

I contacted about a half dozen electricians for estimates. Steve was the quickest to respond. Right from the start it's easy to see Steve is motivated to providing quality service with the customer in mind. I contacted him multiple times over a few weeks with numerous questions. Each time he had no problem helping me to make choices, even knowing I had not commited any business to him yet. There was no pressure and no timeline. Knowing that he is so easy to contact and concerned that I am happy, the choice of electrician became clear. The work was done quickly and professionally. Once his workers were done, He personally showed up again to ensure everything went well. At no additional charge he helped me with a light switch I was having concerns with. The next day, I decided that I wanted to change a beaker to a lower amperage. Steve came back to change it out for me. I wish other businesses were as motivated and cared about its customers and products. Steve provides excellent example of what professionalism and customer service is all about.

They are fabulous. They were the original Electricians that were used to build my first house. They are punctual, professional, diligent. Won't use anyone else.

Work was of high quality and was completed promptly without any surprises. Crew worked very closely with the cabinet installer planning ahead each day. They were very attentive and cleaned up the work place each day, no mess was left behind. Everything was explained in detail and our questions/concerns were answered patiently as the project progressed. Price seemed fair and very competitive with other estimates I got for this job. Overall, we were very pleased with the final product and would love to use them again for future projects.

We used them over the course of a year or year and a half. They are really good, so I've been giving them referrals. I know that they have secured two other jobs. Electricians and plumbers are hard to find and they are absolutely great. As soon as I start demoing the bathroom, I'll have them back. Depending on the job, we always had at least two all the way up to five workers. They left the area excellent, they knew I had other sub-contractors coming in and they always picked up their tools. They didn't do things without checking with me and it's tough to get a sub-contractor to do that because, they usually just guest and nine times out of 10 they are wrong. They would come to me and say that they had two options and which one did I want? I thought that was great. They were a little on the high side but, they were worth it. They were here five minutes before I expected them everyday. I will be using them again. We interviewed 10 different electricians before finding these guys and they really helped the project go well.

From the first phone call, we knew this problem would be fixed professionally. My husband called and left a message to contact us. we received a return call within a few hours. Although we did play some "phone tag" my husband was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Arrived on time. Explained what needed to be done. Since it was Thanksgiving week, Steve was not sure if he could get a crew there by the Friday since he had said about taking a long weekend. It was Wednesday and we had power, so we told him Monday would be fine. We got a confirmation call on Sunday and the crew was here by 8:30 am on Monday. they were kind enough to wait to turn off the power until we made our morning coffee/tea! the job was completed within three hours. there was a slight increase in the amount owed but very small addition. We were quite happy with the crew and the job!

I had used double pole electric in the past and gave an A rating. I called yesterday at 9am to get a repair. Also went to their website and left an email. Not even a call back and I waited all day.

Where not able to correct problems. Were not able to reconnect outside pole light.

The did exceptional work! Yes I would recommend Double Pole Electric.

I was very happy from beginning to end from return calls to finishing the job. Estimate was free. Professional. On time. I felt the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them and plan on using Double Pole Electric again.

Electrical wiring for standby generator

Left a message with company and they called me back promptly. Gave me a fair estimate over the phone and Marcy came the same day to do install. We made adjustments to amount of light needed, and they reduced price to match new requirements. Job was completely quickly and professionally and we would use this company again!!

Josh came right on time. He was very nice, polite, and professional. He did the job and charged a fair price. Will definitely use again.

Very easy to make an appointment, he came the very next day. Very punctual and arrived the time he stated he would. My husband tried to fix a ceiling fan but could not get it back in place, while doing so, he sparked some wires. The electrician discovered my husband blew the entire switch board when it had sparked. He placed the ceiling fan back in place and replaced the switch board adding a new one. I was able to use a 10% coupon from Angie's List so the complete job was $180 total, which I think was not bad at all. We are going to use them again for high hats we would like installed.

I spoke to Bob the owner and told him I needed an estimate for installing three light/exhaust fan units and installing wiring for three ceiling fixtures. He said that he would have someone at my home at 8:00 the next morning and if the price was right he could start the work. The electrician was sitting in my driveway at 7:50. The quote of $900 was excellent. I told the electrician to start. The electrician name was Josh and he was fantastic. After watching how skillful his work was I asked him to get me a quote to have three additional rooms wired for ceiling fixtures. That quote was for $375 and I told Josh to do them also. The only problem that he had was due to the construction of my home he could not vent one of the exhaust fans out the side of the bathroom and when he spoke to Bob he told me that he would have to vent the unit thru the roof and that additional work would cost $100. I told him that that was agreeable. He told me that Bob was sending another electrician to help him finish the work. It took two days to complete the work and when they were done the work areas were clean. I am having them back to install the light fixtures and to wire two more rooms for ceiling lights. Great work and a great price. It does not get better than that.

Bob Called me back the same day. We Made a plan for them to come sometime that afternoon. He called and the time wasn't great for me as i promised to take my son to a movie, so he hurried over so I could leave as planned. I thought that was very nice of him. He figured out the problem fairly quickly fixed it and gave me a fair price including the coupon. I would certainly recommend him.

Everything was excellent, Bob was very pleasant on the phone and the mechanic Josh was very nice, did the job well and insisted on cleaning up after himself. I would recommend them to anyone who needs the job done and done well.

I had already purchased the transfer switch and they did the install. They did an excellent job and the service man was very friendly and professional. I would use them again.

I called Steve based on the reviews on Angie's List. I had not used him before. I wanted to schedule an appointment to repair a very noisy exhaust fan in my bathroom. Before doing so, he suggested I check a couple of fairly easy things. One of these solved the problem and saved me an unnecessary visit and expense. Based on this experience, I will not hesitate to call him again. It's hard to find good repair guys with integrity you can trust.

Over the course of two weeks Steve and I left messages for each other to coordinate a date and time for service. Steve was very responsive to returning calls. A date for service was made with a 3 hour window. About 3.5 hours after Steve was scheduled to arrive but didn't I left him a voice mail with my cell number for him to call. I did not hear from him on my cell but he did leave a message on my home number 4.5 hours after the aforementioned window for service. I was disappointed as Steve seemed professional and responsive to my calls before the date of service.

Marcy arrived on time and performed the work described at the estimated price. He was professional, courteous, and informative. He left the work area clean. All-in-all, an A+ experience. Couldn't be more pleased.
