AAA Dependable Cesspool Sewer and Drain

The service person was prompt, courteous & professional and resolved my septic tank issue within an hour. I would recommend AAA Dependable to anyone needing septic tank service on Long Island.

Jeff was prompt and professional. He called the morning of the appointment and confirmed with the approximate time he would arrive. He came on time and cleaned up the workplace after the job was completed. He did not try to sell me lots of chemicals and services as other companies do. He told me exactly how much it would cost at the beginning of the job and there were no surprises.

Jeff did an excellent job of finding and excavating the overflow tank. He then aerated and pumped waste water then added chemical. He then installed a chimney to bring access to just below grade. The job was started after noon; was made safe overnight, and finished the next morning. Total of $800.00 . Excellent price and handled professionally, left very neat and clean.

Jeff was awesome. He was able to locate and service the main cesspool and overflow tanks. After many years of using other companies that told us it would cost thousands of dollars to locate the overflow tank, Jeff did so in minutes and it did not cost us thousands!!! He was honest and explained everything he was doing to. When the job was complete my lawn was made to look like it was never touched. I would definitely reccomend this company!

Well; Jeff explained what he found, what needed to be done, did it and explained limitations/restrictions and why for next 24 hours.

Chris was great! We had 2 plumbers from another company come the day before, neither of them were able to fix it and recommended cutting into the wall and replacing all of the plumbing, a $2000 job!! I called AAA for a second opinion and Chris was able to fix the issue simply and in half the time. Reasonably priced and a nice guy! I will definitely use them again.

Excellent, friendly, informative, reasonably priced. Melissa was very helpful on the phone, my husband called her several times and she gave him all the information he needed. Jeff came to our house in 30 minutes, dug up the ground, explained what he was doing, and did an excellent job of emptying that sucker. Nobody likes knowing their cesspool has to be emptied, but this was a very professional person doing the work. It went great, the tech took care of the problem quickly. I am an old time contractor, I lost faith with the contractors of today. Chris gave me a time, he called to tell me he was on his way and told me where he was coming from so I would know when he would be here, if I could give them an A++ I would. They are my plumbers now, I should have called them sooner.

Arrived early and resolved the issue. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely call back with any issues in the future

It went very well. The company arrived on time, worked very efficiently, and completed a job that turned out to be a little more complex than anticipated (the cesspool was buried quite deeply) at a fair price that was fully explained. I would definitely recommend them.

.We had a houseful of guests (7) and suddenly the first-floor toilet wasn't flushing--water would not go down. It was clear that using a plunger was not going to fix it and there was bubbling in that toilet when someone used the upstairs bathroom. I called Dependable and explained the problem. Someone was at the house within 90 minutes and dchecked out the entire system. He recommended pumping out the cesspool and it had been several years so he did using a truck that was extremely efficient (it didn't take that long and there was not odor at all). He then put in , if I reember correctly, 30 gallons of acid and recommended that we not use showers for 24 hours and no washer or dishwasher for 48 house. He explained exactly what he had done and the total cost was under $600. The price and service were outstanding, the yard looked pristine when he left and we thoroughly and completely recommend the company

Dependable Cesspools are liars and cheats. They completely misrepresented what company they were and didn't even fix the problem we had called about. We called this company mistakenly thinking they were AAA Cesspools ( Dependable has recently put AAA in front of their name in the phone book ) on 03/21 at 7:00 PM and got their answering service. I specifically asked if they were the AAA owned by James and Margaret Wholey. The service said they didn't know. 10 minutes later I got a call from the service, he said they'd be here in 15 minutes. When Dependable showed up, I asked repeatedly if this was the AAA owned by James and Margaret. The man "Donnie" refused to give me a straight answer and acted as though he knew James and Margaret, but hadn't spoken to them. He then went about hooking up the hoses to our septic tank and demanded my husband pay in cash or a credit card right away. After he pumped out the septic tank, I told him the kitchen sink was still clogged and he told me that wasn't his problem. He said he didn't have the equipment with him to fix that and he would have to go back to the shop to get the equipment and we would have to pay extra. I said, "but that was our original complaint, and you still haven't fixed that". At that point my husband had had it with them and told them to leave. Donnie started threatening my husband and saying "I know where you live". They finally packed up their gear and left, and of course we still had a clogged kitchen sink. After they left, my husband found the correct number for AAA Cesspool and they were at our house by 9:30 the next morning and fixed everything!! They also had said they had several complaints from other customers about this company pretending to be them and being very difficult to deal with. Dependable are Liars and thieves, I would highly suggest that people have nothing to do with this company.
